Clothes for 1900 Park Fare?

We are going to the Cinderella Dinner at 1900 Park Fare with little girls aged 2-4. Do the little ones dress up in princess dresses for this? If so where do you store the clothes while in MK? Don't want to carry 3 princess outfits around the park. I don't want the girls to feel left out if most of the kids are dressed up as princesses, since this is something they all love to do!

Also, is the usual jeans and t shirt okay for adults for this dinner?

Thanks

We ate there for dinner on Aug 7. I believe there were more kids not in princess outfits than there were in the outfits. I do not think it is worth it to dress up your daughters. I have been taking my niece for the past 4 years to Disney. We have eaten at every princess meal, and she has only dressed up once. I always feel sorry for the little girls in their princess outfits. They seem to be uncomfortable. I have seen tons of parents insisting that the high-heeled princess shoes stay on, and little girls crying that they hurt their feet. I say go enjoy MK, be comfortable and don't worry about carrying around dress up outfits.

My daughter is really picky about clothes being comfortable, but she loves dressing in a princess dress for a princess meal. We don't do the high heels, though. You can rent a locker right at the front of the MK for those dresses to avoid toting them around the park. In December my dd changed out of her Sleeping Beauty dress in CRT's restroom before leaving. Yours could change into their dresses at the GF right before dinner. It makes for great photos. Little girls love playing princess, and how more magical can it get than being dressed as a princess meeting the "real" Disney princesses? I say it's worth the effort.

Renting a locker would be a good solution.

But really I see more kids without princess costumes on than with. I'm sure they won't miss out on anything if you should choose to forgo carrying 3 princess costumes around with you. :)

I agree, which ever works best for your and your girls, but they will not be out of place if they don't have princess dresses on.

The locker idea is great, and there is a rest room at GF right outside of 1900 Park Fare.

My DD9 would not be seen in a Princess dress (just the way she is.....) so I usually find a design on the Design board and make her a T-Shirt that is appropriate for the meal - Pictures of Princesses is okay, but just not the dresses -

It is a wonderful dinner. Have a great time!

We're going on our DD's 4th birthday to 1900 Park Fare. The last time we went we ate at Norway for the Princess breakfast and it seemed as though my girls were the only ones NOT wearing a princess dress.... my then 4 yr old DD was very upset that I didn't have hers with us :( We'll be bringing their dresses anyway for MNSSHP (going 2 nights after younger DD's bday dinner) so we'll let them wear their dresses to dinner and then stow them away in a locker at MK if they don't want to wear them afterwards :)
