Clothes and overpacking HELP

I generally get his sneakers at a Reebok Outlet, which not only has a great selection of sizes, but can also get something from another store if they don't have what you want! I ususally get two pair if I find something that he is happy with.

Thanks for the tips!

For the 3 night wonder, dark slacks, polos and leather sandals should be fine for teens.

I also believe in the mix and match method of packing, and I personally do some laundry, since I don't like to do hours worth of it when I get home.

For kids, be sure you have at least 3 complete outfits, just in case they have a major spill or two! If they stay with you most of the time, they'll be in bathing suits a LOT! If they like the clubs, I'd go with 5 outfits.

But for an adult, two to three pair of shorts, 5-6 casual tops, two to three pair of slacks/capris, 5-6 tops for the dinner pants, and your formal outfit would probably be fine for a 7 night cruise, especially if you do laundry once. For men, substitute dress pants for the slacks/capris, and polo/open necked shirts for the dinner tops, and a suit with two shirts and tie combos and you're set.

One thing I strongly encourage you to do is take at least 2 bathing suits. Putting on a wet suit is NO fun, and my kids would swim in the morning, then do the clubs for a while, then go swimming again before dinner. You should also hang the suits upside down, so if anything is damp, it's the top, not the bottom.

That made me laugh. My DS is 13 and wears a size 14, so I feel your pain. I actually have to go out and buy some form of dress shoe AND water shoes for our 3-night. Wish me luck...this shoe shopping might break the bank (assuming I can find anything he likes).

Just an FYI, Timberland makes a very nice men's dress shoe. They are not cheap, but they are very comfortable and last a long time. My dh wears a 13 (or higher, depending on the shoe), so i feel your pain.
