Dang I was hopeful I'd get my points by this weekend coming, but looks unlikely since we were not recorded until the 9th July. Feeling ever more likely that we will have no inventory left to book for this September by the time we get them!
Are you new to Dvc or existing? Seems like existing is slightly faster since you don't have to wait for sign in stuff.Dang I was hopeful I'd get my points by this weekend coming, but looks unlikely since we were not recorded until the 9th July. Congrats though, glad it worked out for you !!

No, it was one of the other common ones for VGC (I don't think I have enough poster cred yet to type out links though lol)Was the title co https://trcsinc.com/ ?
My points showed up today as well!Still waiting. Looking back, it looks like my deed didn't get recorded until 6/27 with a correction recorded 7/1. Have any of the other late June recording folks heard anything? It looks like the last person who heard anything in this thread was Monday morning.
Yes formality. If not closed by then you can back out of the sale.I passed ROFR today and received closing document. I saw the first page has a settlement date 8/27, which is 2 month from the offer was accepted 6/27. I didn’t remember there was a delay closing when I got the contract. Is the settlement date just a formality date when the closing is expected to be closed by date and I may finish if we can get closing documents turnaround quickly and funds wired? I asked title company today but was late when I emailed. Wondering if anyone may know here. Thank you!
I am one of the ones in camp wait for sellers to sign. Although many people like to wire right away, but I have had many purchases where the seller takes 2 weeks or more to sign and Id rather hold my money as long as I can.Thank you! Should I wire the fund tomorrow too when I sign the closing documents? I think I read some places say maybe better to wait for seller to finish signing papers.
I will ask bank tomorrow to see how it works and just be ready.I am one of the ones in camp wait for sellers to sign. Although many people like to wire right away, but I have had many purchases where the seller takes 2 weeks or more to sign and Id rather hold my money as long as I can.
Mine came as an online signing package. Didn’t see instruction it needs a notary. Good to share question here! Will be good to know what other experiences were / what your closing agent confirm. Is a notary required for closing documents? We just received our documents today and the instructions say to return them by scan+email within 7 days along with wiring the funds. There's nothing in here about a notary, I was assuming we'd need one but I'm happy to not have to, I just want to be sure. I'm going to email my closing agent and ask, but I figured I'd toss the question out here for you all as well.
EDIT: Found a few threads here that indicate probably not, cool, that's a nice convenience for us.
I really hope it's not taking a full month for existing members. I'm getting antsy on day 12.Finally got my points!!

It seems to be a pattern with buying resale that once I start complaining on here about the wait that I get what I was waiting for. I guess I should just complain sooner???
Ask your escrow officer if you need a Notary (you should be calling and confirming the wire instructions by phone anyway, reminder not to call the number included With the wiring instructions to verify). I'd call sooner than later, and if you need a Notary, ask Escrow if they have an e-Notary and the cost. Free with some Escrows, pricey with others. AAA or your bank usually have free or low cost Notary. Last point, with Disney direct I needed BOTH a notary and two witnesses present at the notarization - and this was without financing !Is a notary required for closing documents?
