Closing Time!

Your title company should email you once it is officially closed and recording should pop up next day on the website
Another frustrating thing, I called Disney, they said they have no deed or anything for me. I also checked the comptroller and it’s still not showing up, but it was in fact closed and deeded on the 4th this is sooooo frustrating I’m ready to blow a fuse duddeeeeee

Something sounds completely off. If it was deeded it should be recorded and on the website for public viewing. I would call the comptrollers office at this point and see if a delay like this is normal. I have never heard of it taking this long to post on the website after being deeded.

Mason about to get flooded with demand letters 🤣🤣

This **** is for the birds lol I’m over it
They are probably reading this thread. I just got an email saying that mine finalized today and will get to Disney tomorrow. The estimated time, according to my email is 5 weeks for Disney to complete the transfer and then 2 more weeks for the points to load. So, yeah, 7 weeks from today.......

No it should be less than 3 weeks, they give that long timeframe estimate to everyone, congrats on finally closing!!!

I have to see it to believe it! If I get my points soon enough to use the banked 2024 points, PARTY AT VGC! I'll seriously book whatever I can get in the spring - even if it's a solo visit in a Grand Villa. :rotfl:Personal use for the win!

The above are my first two DVC contracts, and they passed ROFR at essentially the same time today. I think it will be interesting to see how quickly the closing process moves with each one. I used two different title companies (unnamed for now because it seems I may not have enough posts to post links). From one title company, I already received and returned the closing documents. For the other title company, I have not yet received the closing documents.

Does anyone else have experience as a new resale member buying two separate contracts at the same time? The vesting information is the same on the two contracts, and they are in the same use year. Should I anticipate any issues with these two contracts being correctly associated into a single membership?
