ok this is weird... we have two emails my work one and personal. My husband and i are on the deed. Fidelity had me use two different emails when we were signing papers. One going to my husband and one going to me. i dont get why but ookkkk ??
I just received my activation code on my email and my husband received a different code in his email lol Geeze i hope this doesnt turn into a hot mess...

Because each owner has to have a separate account set up by DVC, so each owner needs to be assigned a discrete email in order to set the membership up.

So when i am able to receive the Club ID do we both have to do this separate or can i just go in there and log in and start doing things?

ya i am probably just going to do everything from my home email and see what happens. I would think both of our names would automatically be on there. we will see once i get the second email with the Club ID.

In order to link DVC membership to their profile in MDE and to access the member website to view/download/print the temporary membership card (if needed), each person will need a discrete email address to use when logging into the member website. Then any of them can book, pay dues, check availability, do whatever on the member website. In many families, one person takes charge and performs all those functions. In our family, that’s me, but DH has his own login.

Did anyone who had their deed recorded on 3/16 get their membership email yet??? I still have another two weeks before we lose the start of the 7 month window, so I'm not TOO worried yet, but today marks two weeks and I was spoiled by seeing all those 7/8 day ranges earlier this month!

My deed was recorded on 15th and the contract appeared the membership yesterday. Today got our points by contacting chat. Another deed which closed on 20th, it probably will come next week. Hope this helps

My deed was the 10th recorded on the March 16. It was recorded at 7:35 am.

I figure they go in order unless someone's is pulled per a request.

We were recorded at 7:37am so right behind you!!

I don't think its necessarily when you were recorded - its tied to when your closing company probably sent the documents after receiving confirmation that your deed was recorded.

I don't think Disney monitors the comptroller website. My escrow agent emailed me a few hours after recording and said she had just sent the documents to Disney.

i'm 100% you are correct but I am trying desperately to feel like i have SOME sort of control over the situation!!!!!!
