Closing docs - snail mail or email

Did any purchasers receive their closing docs by email?

The two reasons is like this are:
1. I'm in Canada so mail will take longer
2. We went for ROFR yesterday and we leave for our annual vacation December 4th. We will be gone two weeks. If I received docs via email while away I could go to business's center and process them, send them back and call in my wire transfer.

Just trying not to slow down the process in any way.

I have been surprised at how quickly and efficiently I've been able to handle everything over email, so far.

As the buyer you can receive your closing docs by email, sign them, and return scans of them via email -- and wire the money. No need to mail anything.

If you do decide to regular mail, don't pay the extra for priority or overnight. Remember that the seller has to go get their documents notarized, and they are very unlikely to pay extra to speed things up a day or two.

Since both the buyer and seller documents must be returned to close, I sent mine via regular postage, and it closed just a few days later.

There is a distinct difference in the urgency on paperwork between most buyers (NOW!!!) and sellers (when they get around to it).

I did the same but from the UK and my documents were still well ahead of the sellers
