Hang in there. It took 9 days when I purchased last year. Since Monday was a holiday, it might take an extra day for you to get into the system. I expect you'll be in by Friday at the latest.

Hmm. I sent my paperwork back on 8/25 (DS's birthday), and I was able to make a reservation last Friday (9/1). Hope it comes through quickly!

i am a little anxious because we were given 210 banked points to be used before april 2007. would like to make use of them as soon as possible. being new to all of this i do not know how early you really have to book to get the suite size you want. thanks for the help.

when do you want to go?

some times like summer and spring break aren't that difficult - you just have to be prepared to take whatever MS has. Say you wanted BCV but only OKW was available - well take OKW and go on the wait list for BCV. You might get BCV you might not - but at least you have OKW.

food/wine festavial for this year - I think it is too late already.

but never fear that is what the waiting list is for - so use it.

we were in the next day. YAHOO!! Spending beginning of Dec at GF the only dvc resorts were OKW. were told it was a fabulous deal for us. thanks to all.

I think getting into the reservation system varies depending on how you purchased. We purchased resale, and it took many, many weeks before our points were available for reservations. We passed ROFR on 1/30 and on 3/28, we had our points in the system.

If you purchase from Disney direct, you can pretty much make reservations the next day or so, from what my guide tells me. Resales go to the bottom of the pile when it comes to getting entered in. At least in my experience!
