CLOSED: Points for rent/transfer. Up to 150 points, HHI home resort, $18pp

I have 97 current points available for rent/transfer and willing to borrow to make reservations for up to 150 total points.

The 97 current year points are a March use year so need to be used for travel before 2/28/2023.

Asking $18pp.

Experienced renter with references available. Will send a simple contract once the reservation is booked and ask for 50% payment at booking, 50% 31 days before check in. Venmo or PayPal friends and family. Rentals will be nonrefundable but I’m willing to modify or reschedule if necessary (within the limits of the point system and subject to availability).

Please provide check in and out dates, resort, and room category.

ETA: points can be used at any/all DVC resorts!

Hi, I'm sorry but would only be interested in transferring the full amount since it's limited to once per year. If there is availability around your current stay I could book the room as a rental and you should then be able to call Member Services and have the reservations merged together to (hopefully) avoid having to move rooms.

Ah, totally understandable! I haven't ever done a transfer, so I didn't realize it was a once-yearly type thing. Somehow I managed to get both my arrival date and departing date wrong Which means it would have to be two reservations for single days - which is available for one day (Nov 1-2) but not the other (Oct 22-23) currently. It's quite the pickle!
