I finished my give (Noah's) and I mailed today...

Everything looks fabulous. I love that princess dress. The Indiana Jones outfit is very cute. I love it. That stroller bag is super smart. I am sure that Noah will appreciate that.

You have such pretty girls. Those are some really cute outfits. They sure are happy to have them too. I wish I could get a pose out of Jenna like that.

Thank you! My oldest is named Jenna too! My 5 year old is an absolute ham! I have 6 different pictures with 6 different poses and I had to pick one. My 8 year old just smiles to make me happy :rotfl: .

Well, I mentioned a few days ago that my local Walmart is closing their fabric department, well on Saturday I got about 40 yards of fabric for 58.00, well I couldn't resist and went again today during my lunch break. I got another 55.00 worth of fabric, more tink, mickey, winnie the pooh, some pink floral, plain red, plain green, black with white polka dots, a cute pastel stripe and a black and white floral and 10 yards of white muslin and 5 yards of interfacing. I feel so bad but I can't resist the prices. I also bought two bundle packs today from Carla C. I printed off three of them at work and can't wait to get started. I think I will go with the A-Line next, it looks to be pretty easy and I am just a beginner. Well I have plenty of fabric for the next few years, so no excuses !!

I just wanted to post and say that I have been lurking. Everything is so beautiful. I loved the photos from the big Meet! Everyone looks like they are having so much fun. Eeyore4ever149 I am sorry to hear about your Dad. the view from your parent's house is beautiful. It is nice to spend some time with family.

I have been busy working on a Dining Review

You know before I had Jenna I had never met a Jenna or even seen anyone who had named their child Jenna. Since she was born I have worked with a Jenna, had a friend named Jenna, and have met many people who have named their DD's Jenna. There is even a Disboutiquer whose name is Jenna. Even George Bush has a daughter named Jenna.

i just realized the mistake, I feel so silly!!!! well you know is the tooth:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I made the stroller blanket, I used to make them for my boys when they were babies and I like that you zip them in and will not slide from your stroller,I did not lined it as it is a very thick fleece.

That's so funny! The same thing with us. We actually found the name in someone elses birth announcement and we thought it was cute......we should have known that would mean everyone would be naming their daughters Jenna! We didn't know anyone by that name and sure enough in my daughter's pre-school class there was 2 Jennas!

Oh Linnette,

I am sorry you have both a headache and a toothache. Do you think they are going to pull your tooth? I sure do pray they help you out and stop the pain soon. You have suffered too much already.

The clothes are just beautiful and I can't believe all the things you made! You must be super woman because you have really outdone yourself. They are all so cute. I know Noah and his family are going to be so happy to be wearing Linette originals.

I LOVE the name Jenna. I considered it for my first child (who ended up as ETHAN), and considered it again for my second child (who ended up as AbbyGrace). It is just a classy name in my opinion.

Thank you Cherlyn25 and Teresajoy and everyone who liked the outfits I made. Oh and mrsmiller, I love the outfits and the princess dress and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the clips idea! Too cute! And thanks revrob!

There haven't been any in any of Jenna's classes. There was one in the first school she went to.

Here is the quilt I am making for my BFF's bday - its in the wash again to help it fray - what cycles do you use to get it to fray the best?

I mostly lurk, but wanted to share my accomplishment today with those who may understand my giddiness. My husband was kind enough to grant me what we've termed a "Mommy vacation" day. Mommy's in the house but... unavailable.

I spent a good portion of the day making my oldest daughter's valentine dress and adding to it...my FIRST applique.

But I love how it turned out, just like I pictured it in my head.

Thanks for letting me share!

Super cute! Great job!

What a great outfit!!!!

sorry its so blurry, not sure whats going on with my camera
Cute!

I love the bowling shirt pattern that I see on here all the time with the different panels in it. However, it doesn't go up to a big enough size. How could I create my own from a regular button up shirt pattern?? (Andrew takes a size 10)
It might be easier to upsize carla's pattern.

Here is a picture of my cousins little one wearing the simply sweet I made for her!! Everyone oohed and aahhed over her at church this morning - she looked so cute!!

That looks so fun!!!!!

Tried my first Simply Sweet. First time doing ruffles too. (I only have boys) Anyway, i think it turned out pretty cute. There are some mistakes, but my family can't find them, so I think I am safe.

So cute! Love those fabrics!

a few more

SO cool!!!! They will love that!

photos from my visit with my parents....

My first Feliz

Glad you had a nice visit. The Feliz is so cute!

I bought Carla's pattern to make a hoodie for Drew. I want to line the hood to make it more comfortable for him.

I have fleece to make it out of. Would lining the hood with fleece be too much? Do you think something else would work better?

Thanks
I also lined mine in fleece. The hood is pretty big so it isn't too tight or anything. My DD(9) seemed really happy with it.

th_princessroundneck.jpg

Here is my first attempt at the roundneck top/dress pattern from ycmt. It went together pretty easily. Going to start her valentines one now.
That is great! DD is a cutie!

Here is my latest accomplishment. I free-handed it them and just made a few strips and pieces and put them together to make skirts. Last night I made matching tops. I modified them a little with some ties on each side. I figured we were going in May so it would be pretty hot out. I just have to shorten my 5 year olds straps a little and tighten up the sides a bit. I thought I would wait though in case she grows a bit between now and then.

Linnette

LInnette!!! For Pete's sake!!! Goodness girl, you know if you are in pain like that you can ask for help!! You are so generous! Toothaches are the WORST pain! I've had some horrible toothaches and the pain is right up there with childbirth (and I had an awful labor!) . I hope the pain goes away soon!

Oh, with all that getting after you, I almost forgot to say how much I liked the outfits!!! They look great! I'm sure they will be so happy with them!!
And, I'll mark you as shipped! :thumbsup2

I just started cutting out my first feliz. I've been wanting to make this pattern for a very long time, and I'm just now getting around to it. It takes a LOT of fabric. I had a lot of yardage, and I still have to go back to the store tomorrow to pick up another yard to finish cutting out the over dress. I hope I love it as much as I've loved everyone else's that have been posted.

The stroller blanket is so what I've been looking for. We got this really cute Mickey fleece. I wanted a stroller blanket for my DS to have in disney world. So how did you make it?
