That's very generous of you, Lstar! On behalf of everyone, THANKS!! I'm sure all the people who voted yes on the poll will be THRILLED! When you get a chance (after you come back is fine!!), just let us know what kind of coffeepot it is, what kind of filters it takes? So when we run low, someone can bring some down to replenish. Do you think it'll fit inside the fridge when it's time to store it?

We will have a rental car so I will pick up some supplies for the fridge while we are at WDW - but we don't go until the end of August. It would help if people could post what we need after they use it (filters, paper towels, etc.)

I've never "swapped" myself but we stayed with a couple 3 years aog who did. Please tell me what to do next! Never mind - I just read the instructions. Now I'm off to look for "pennymom"

My DH and DD both rely on a floor fan to go to sleep at night, does anyone know if there is a fan swap too?

I don't THINK there is a fan swap. That's not one I've seen. There is a ceiling fan in every room...will that work?

Just wanted to give a quick update on the fridge. We got back from Disney last night. I had two great swaps while I was there. I got the fridge from tinkerbell 211 and gave it to karenh23 on the 18th. Both went great! The fridge works very well, just don't put soda's on the top shelf. As I learned the hard way,--they will freeze! Make sure to keep them on the bottom shelf or in the door.
I put a plastic sleeve on the fridge for swap info pages. The paper towels, cleaner, info and green packing tape are still with the box. I hope everyone enjoys the fridge as much as we did. Thanks Avonlady.

Thanks for the update, Birdleigh! I'm glad everything went smoothly!! Thanks for the tip about the soda. LOL Hope they didn't explode! How's the box holding up so far? No one's mentioned it, so I'm assuming pretty good.

The box is holding up just fine. We did have one exploded soda! I wasn't too bad to clean as the soda was all frozen. Other wise the fridge worked great. It was so nice to have frozen water to take to the parks. It was extremely hot while we were there.

GREAT news about the box...I was worried. That's too funny about the soda. I've had that happen in my trunk of the car in wintertime. Not fun.

Frozen water & frozen washcloths are a must have for us in the parks!! It's pretty darn hot in September also!

Speaking of the box - has it been decorated? If so, can someone who used it soon please post a picture? It will help when it goes into storage if we know what we are looking for.

The box hasn't been decorated. It's still just a "plain ole box". I did tape the clear sheet protector on the top w/ the green duct tape.

Lets work on getting the box decorated. If it looks like "our" box maybe there won't be another mixup with who ends up with it. I have lots of Disney stickers I will bring, but I'm not going until the end of August. Maybe we could get the name of our swap written on it too?

Thanks again Avonlady1001 for letting me in on the swap! It worked out great for us and we only had to rent a fridge from the hotel for 2 nights!

I noticed on a previous posting the mention of a ceiling fan in every room so I thought I should note that our room did not have one, so don't count on it! Maybe this is something that can be requested though.

As for our swap name, if any of the next few swappers are willing, I made signs w/ our name on them that need to go on the box. Just email me at blckjak1001@yahoo.com & I'll email them to you. You can print them out & tape them on the box. They're in Microsoft Word format.

Still going to WDW, but we switched to CSR. I know there is a waiting list, if that person is not still interested I will help you find a replacement. As it's during FD it shouldn't be a problem! I'll keep checking back...
