Just wait till 5:00 appetizer time and 8:00 cobbler time:worship:. Looks like you'll be watching Wishes from your room balcony tonight? I'm so glad you love your room. The 7th floor still must be fairly empty? Have you met Cshel yet?

Cobbler time was a fantastic experience.

Hello everyone!

We'll (DH & I) be at the WL November 10th-18th and we could not be any more excited!! :woohoo:

We have a 'Woods View' room. Can you recommend which floor and wing are the best for catching the fireworks and EWP? Any chance in that happening? :confused3

BTW, I'm loving this thread!

Hi everyone :goodvibes

Just a question about Standard room views, i ve read that they tend to be over looking the service areas but was wondering if that applies to all rooms?
Do any of the standard rooms offer better views?
If so does anyone know which room Nos ?

Many thanks :thumbsup2

Most all std rooms are overlooking service roads, service areas, or parking lot....to get a better view bump up to a woods view........also you can bump up to courtyard view for pool, lake, villas views.

Remember if you are going to hammer the parks a view may not be needed. We do enjoy the balcony but a view is not the most important. We spluged for CourtYard view this time around.....

PP...i ithink you want something on 6th floor north building???? Views have decreased over the yrs as the trees have grown larger and fuller....

:welcome:, swelch!

With a Woods View room, the only wing you could view Wishes from would be the North Wing. Some of the upper rooms have a partial Wishes view, but they don't have a view of the EWP. Only the Inner or WL courtyard view rooms do. The upper, inner or WL courtyard view rooms that are in the South Wing have both a view of the EWP off to the right and Wishes straight ahead behind the North Wing.

I hope you and DH have a great November stay at WL:goodvibes

 Hi, feline figaro!

While all the Standard View rooms will have a view below of the service area/smokehouse and the otter pond off to the right in the North Wing (photos on the first page) or the parking lot off to the right/bus stop/VWL/FW woods in the South Wing, the North Wing rooms that are on or near the top floor have a view of Wishes. So you might want to request a North Wing/high or top floor so that you can see some of Wishes at night;)

We are having a wonderful time. The boys don't seem to want to leave the WL CL to go to the parks. The food is wonderful

One more question about tickets as part of a package. If I were to hold onto the two-day tickets that were part of a free dining promotion for a later trip, would those tickets only be able to be used by those who traveled with me when I purchased the package with the two-day tickets? Specifically, my daughter is bringing a friend in November, but if I were to hold onto those tickets to use for our June 2013 trip, would one of those two-day tickets only be good for my daughter's friend who traveled with us in November to Disney (this friend will not be returning with us in June 2013)?

They would get along perfectly with my DH who could stay all day in the Lodge and CL if given the opportunity.

Have you seen Candace (Mousemommy1) yet? I think she said on another thread that they were going to go to the MK after unpacking.

I think WL has a great variety of evening offerings, do you have a favorite dish? Have you staked out a favorite table yet? We love the one by the window in the morning and the one in between the lounge and the kid's area in the evening. I love looking down at all the activity. Enjoy!

We booked our trip to VWL with a two bedroom villa for January 2013. It is the first trip for my boys age 7 and 4. My MIL is coming for her first trip. What room or villa should I request?
Thanks

It's a really small resort with mostly views of trees. You might be able to get a view of the lake through the trees or even a little bit of a glimpse of the pool. Some people request close to elevators.

We are renting a two bedroom VWL in Sept. the friend we are renting from recommended/put our reservation with a high floor, lagoon view, dedicated 2 br since we have little kids and didn't need a separate entrance into the studio part. Hope that helps. You might want a non-dedicated 2 br so you can shut MIL out. :) thats what I would do with my MIL, unless maybe she was paying for all of it.

Can anyone who has stayed club level recently tell me what liqueurs they had out in the evening?
Thanks

Congratulations on booking VWL! I think you've gotten some great location advice and I hope you have a wonderful vacation. Let us know if you have anymore questions.

Ha, Ha! She is help paying for it. One of the boys will be sleeping with her in the second bedroom. Thanks for the advice!

:wave2: Just popping in to ask if the Honeymoon rooms are already refurbished???

Probably should've asked before I booked, but it was a fantabulous deal.... who knew they would include the rooms in the BB pixiedust:

When I read posts like this I am tempted to change my plan from a 2 BR villa to 2 CL rooms. Luckily, I have lots of time to read posts here and think about it. Have a wonderful time!!

The two rooms in the North Wing are done and they are currently rehabbing the South Wing CL rooms. They should be done with the South Wing's 7th floor by July 27. You and DH will have a fresh, new room:cloud9:

The archery Experience is so much fun, we even did part of it in the pouring rain once and it was still a hoot. You'll need to make a reservation either through the IPO, if you're staying club level or by calling (407) WDW-PLAY.
The Archery Experience is offered every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 2:45 - 4:15 for ages 6 and up. It only costs $25 and is located behind the Bike Barn at FW. You'll check-in at the Bike Barn and sign some legal mumbo jumbo and then walk right behind the Bike Barn. They are very well organized and the rules are explicit and easy to understand, but you must follow them. It lasts about 1.5 hours and you'll be busy the whole time. I highly recommend it and I think we might even do it again it was so much fun.

Here is a link to an AllEars review of it with photos:

Thank you so much! It's too bad they don't do it on our scheduled "off" day. hmm...will have to look at this. Thanks so much! :flower3:

Does anyone know if the rehabbed rooms at the Wilderness Lodge will have a day bed or couch like the Polynesian, Contemporary, etc?
