Thank you so much! It's too bad they don't do it on our scheduled "off" day. hmm...will have to look at this. Thanks so much! :flower3:
You're welcome - hope you can squeeze it in.

Does anyone know if the rehabbed rooms at the Wilderness Lodge will have a day bed or couch like the Polynesian, Contemporary, etc?
:welcome: to the DIS and the WL/VWL thread, LJK925! None of the WL rooms have daybeds. Only the Deluxe rooms have a queen sleeper sofa.

dont think the std rooms are big enough for day bed or couch....
That's correct.

One more question about tickets as part of a package. If I were to hold onto the two-day tickets that were part of a free dining promotion for a later trip, would those tickets only be able to be used by those who traveled with me when I purchased the package with the two-day tickets? Specifically, my daughter is bringing a friend in November, but if I were to hold onto those tickets to use for our June 2013 trip, would one of those two-day tickets only be good for my daughter's friend who traveled with us in November to Disney (this friend will not be returning with us in June 2013)?

Nope. It may be less confusing to have them removed from the KTTW at check in, but until a ticket is used it is not attached to a particular person.

Getting pretty excited :cool1: We are under 30 days until our first CL trip to WL :woohoo:  :woohoo: Started a countdown calendar for my 4 year old to make the number of days more real for him(the 14 year old is too cool for a countdown and the 17 month old is just too young). Not long now!!!

The two rooms in the North Wing are done and they are currently rehabbing the South Wing CL rooms. They should be done with the South Wing's 7th floor by July 27. You and DH will have a fresh, new room:cloud9:

:banana::banana: Thanks Kook! I knew the North Wing was done, but wasn't sure about the other side....and maybe silly....but I wasn't sure if they were rehabbing those rooms at the same side. Guess I can't believe they discounted those rooms :woohoo:

I will take pics....and I WILL stay there....:upsidedow

Almost under a year! :rotfl:

I've been hearing about Brazilian tour groups, which we've only encounter once by SP and TMRR and we just went the other way so no problem there. But aguest on another Disney board encountered a huge group of them at the WL pool stacking chairs and then doing running flips over them all afternoon???

If you call CRO, or the WL directly, will they tell you if any "large groups" are staying at a given time if you ask nicely?

I find this very very very surprising as the life guards normally stop any horse play immediately. I wonder if this was at the quiet pool with no life guards? A word to the front desk would solve this as dangerous activity is not allowed.

I really wouldn't let this concern you at the WL - most of the tour groups are at the values with spill over to the moderates :goodvibes

I think 3 resorts in one week is too many. I need at least 3-4 nights at one resort to rationalize a split, unless it's a first night late arrival for just one night. I think you'd feel more relaxed with just two resorts or even one if it's only for 7 nights. Having said that, there are some who would disagree and have spent only a couple of nights at 3 or 4 resorts in a week. I think the answer depends on how 'settled' and 'relaxed' you and your family need to feel on this vacation. I'm all for splits - in moderation.

Good luck and let us know what you decide to do.

Thank you for being the voice of reason - sometimes I just plan to much and with DH this is not a good thing  I travel frequently but DH only goes once a year and I think we need to relax without the stress of not having a room for part of the day or having to use part of the time to pack up. So.... we've decided to stay with our favorite the WL :cloud9::lovestruc:cloud9:

From our stay at WL and I want to start packing. DH pulled the suitcases out of the attic. I pulled out last years tags.:) Now , I want to pack for this year. My lists will be to suffice for now. :rotfl:

To add: I got my ME tags and travel itinerary yesterday from WDTC. :cool1:

Is that a pinky swear on not changing this reservation? Would love your photos for the first page!

The 4-year-old is in the WDW sweet spot, isn't he? You and your family are going to love CL at WL. Happy countdown!

Thanks for your help!
You're welcome. Sorry it probably wasn't the answer you were looking for.

So glad you and your family are having a great stay at The Old Faithful Club:)

:yay: I think you've made a wise decision and you'll get to spend more time actually enjoying the resort and maybe do some FW exploring, too.

By all means, PACK! I say, if the mood strikes you, seize it! At some point I always feel a tad overwhelmed with all the pre-trip prep with errands, the house and yard, the cars... and the last thing I feel like doing is packing close to departure day. I like to do it a couple of weekends before so I can focus on all that 'other' stuff. There are always last minute items, but if you can do the bulk of it, like shoes, some toiletries and outfits, then you'll feel much more relaxed. Good luck!

Last week, my parents decided to join us in mid sept for three nights. They booked a std WL room and we are in a 2 br VWL. It looks like they missed free dining b/c they booked to late. Any ideas on how to get a discount? So far I think they got a 5% off. I called, but no offers attached to my name. I'm just trying to save them a few bucks or add free dining. Thanks.

How are the sleeper sofas in the WL suites? Generally we sleepers to be uncomfortable but are hoping Disney did it right. I am thinking of upgrading if my parents decide to join us and don't wont them to have a bad place to sleep.

Are they/you eligible for the military room-only discount? That would be 40% off through 9/30. There is also an interline rate for airline employees and an Annual Pass discount at that time. The DIS (wdwinfo) and Mousesavers list all available discounts.

My daughter who was 12 at the time, slept on the sleeper in the Presidential Suite for 11 nights and never complained at all. However, it was very difficult to open and at turn-down, it was usually left closed. I'm assuming because the housekeeper had difficulty opening it:confused3. It seemed hit or miss when DH and I could easily open it, so I couldn't tell you what the 'secret' maneuver was, but it was comfortable.

That is what I thought! Thanks and have a magical day!:cloud9:

.

Thanks! They don't qualify for any of those. :( but I'll keep checking back. Now if they had just booked something when we first asked them...... Now I understand the why of booking early even if you are only dreaming about vacation.

I learned my lesson with the pinky swear (right, Candace) so I am not jinxing it. 3 weeks to go, an you will get lots of pics! :hyper:

Welp, my days are just going to drag now. DD broke her arm at camp Monday:( & it already feels like it's been a month. She can't go back to camp because she can't get her cast wet, she can't run or play sports. Lots of Mommy-Daughter Time! Sooooo, how many more days????? Now that she is not in pain anymore, all I keep thinking is, it's a good thing I changed our normal trip time from Aug to Sept or we'd have a problem.:worship:
