I switched to all BC...I still have a WL trip planned for January...at least I'm guaranteed a rehabbed room I will continue to hang here as it is such a happy place

But you had the best of both worlds . We had a great stay at the BC and it is a great resort, but the WL is . But I know you'll have a great trip....and it is nice to be able to walk to 2 parks .

You will have a great time at the BC . Have you done a split stay before? For us, a split stay can be more hassle than it's worth, depending on how many nights you're staying . Alot of people do them no matter how long they stay, but we did a 2/4 split and for us it just wasn't worth it for that short of a time . We no sooner checked in at the first resort and it was time to pack up and move. Then once we got to the second resort and got comfortable, it was time to start thinking of packing up and going home. It was nice staying at 2 different resorts in one trip, but it never felt like we were settled. We won't do another split stay unless we go for at least 9 or 10 nights to give us time to enjoy both resorts, so I can see why your DH doesn't want to do a split .

I think we're gonna know the WL really well after our 10 nights there!!!! I am happy we got rid of the split though, one less thing to stress about!

I added 2 BC nights to my May trip...which turned into all BC....RC trip in Jan....still booked WL....last I checked

(And sometimes even that only helps temporarily)

There's no helping me........so I have booked a Sept trip... booked AoA LM...but with 5 months to go

You're welcome, twinkles. They sell half gallon jugs of milk at the Mercantile and small bottles at Roaring Fork and the Mercantile so you probably don't need to order any:

Just got email yesterday from WL planning office that the North Wing will be complete on 5/4 and they have put in my request for one of those rooms (I check in around 6pmish on 5/4)- here's hoping that one bunkbed room will still be left at 6pm...... I did online check-in also, so I've done everything I think I can do....

We'll all be waiting here at 6:01...

It sounds so bad when you put it that way, never returning. We loved the resort. But we only go to Disney every five years or so. There are so many great resorts there, we want to try a lot of them. So you see why I dont think we will be back. But never say never, it is a great resort.

Oh, I understand. If you only go every 5 years or so then you need to try out some other resorts

Please, please, please post pics if you get a new room...it appears that you are our only hope right now. No pressure.

Yep, no pressure!! Macivity just needs to secure a rehabbed room and forget everything else they were going to do after checking-in, then promptly take photos and upload them right to SnapBucket (that's the quickest way - you do have an iPhone, right?), then post them here!

Hi all! Don't mind me...I'm just sitting here waiting, wondering and wishing the time will come when a lucky someone will post pics of the new rooms..... And wondering if any additional updates to the Old Faithful Club will be made except for new carpet? I do love it tho just as it is!

And also wondering when I should make our ressies for our next trip which is O so far away


By the way, isn't iced tea available with the resort mugs?

Iced tea is available and is listed on the beverage station sign I posted above. The OFC lounge isn't getting rehabbed, but you should definitely make your reservation SOON
