We are having a "do-over" honeymoon at the end of October. MyDH and I honeymooned at WL eight years ago. A crazy chain of circumstance pretty well ruined that trip and we had promised ourselves a re-do when we could make it happen. (We had a blizzard on our wedding day and I ruptured a disc in my back on day 2 of the honeymoon. Good times!) We have been back to DW and the WL a few times since then, but this is our first solo trip back.

When I called to book this trip, the Fates must have decided to smile on us. I received a discount code for 35% off and when I called to make the reservation, we were upgraded to the HM suite on the CL!

To say we are excited is an understatement! I love me some Disney magic!

She told us when I made the reservation. She said that the system chose the room assignment. It was the only room left for the discount code. Either way, we'll take it!

Not sure when we are going to PCS again (or if we are ><) We have been at our current duty station for 6 years and I've been told it's the black hole of the Army. Either way he is set to retire in about 5 years so then they will have to let us go where we want to lol

So excited to have found the new thread. My daughter, my mom and I are having a surprise girls weekend at the end of the month, just the three of us. My daughter has no clue and when I booked I had no clue that our only day in the parks is the 40th Anniversary of MK. I am super excited and can't wait to see the Lodge. We have an inner courtyard room so here's hoping it comes with a magical view.

Thank you guys for letting me know the CL views! We are taking a trip next August and bringing alot my mother and sister. When they travel they try to do as cheap as possible (nothing wrong with that). Well we agreed to share a room and they know we want to do a WL/AKL split. What we aren't telling them is that, if everything goes as planned, we are going to stay CL @ WL! I am going to try and keep it a secret until we check in there.

FAVOR! I need a FAVOR! There are no WL Deluxe Rooms photos that I've ever found. Would you be willing to take some of the room/parlor//bathroom area and balconies so that I could post some to the first page or a link to them?

It's funny that you have the same split we were supposed to have in July/August. We were supposed to be at the WL/CL for 5 days and then move over to the Poly/CL for 8, but after just one day, DH and I agreed (this was before we were moved to the Presidential Suite) that we loved WL/CL so much that we didn't want to leave. Mike was able to extend us and cancel our Poly stay. Now I wonder if I'll ever make it over to Poly/CL. I'd love to read your comparison/contrast of OFC Vs. KK Are you going to post a mini TR?

and back, pas130! You mentioned on the Resort Changers' thread that you saw a big crane at the WL when you drove past. When I was there in July-August they were painting all of the balconies/room exteriors. Maybe the crane is part of the exterior refreshening? Does anyone know anything about the crane
