How do I get added to the "log"?

We are there from September 14-21 and can't wait!!! First WL trip. My son will have a light up its my birthday hat so stop and introduce yourself.

OK add us to the log! It is DH and I. I booked The old faithful club. Jan 21 - 23rd.

I am very excited. I requested an inner courtyard view!

Oh and if I wanted to call and check ourselves in whom do I call. Number? Thanks.

I believe the two check in options are online (which you can do up to 10 days before you arrive) or in person at the regular checkin desk when you get there. The calling people refer to is to the reservation center to add and re-emphasize room requests before the rooms are assigned. You have limited location request options as part of the online checkin, so instead it is best to call early with room requests.

we used a travel agent and she did note it on our request where we wanted to be..we will be in CL but kinda wanted a particicular side of the bldg.. so maybe I should just go ahead and do online check in via the computer.. :confused3
I really dont care where we end, I mean its disney there cant be a bad room..

Lodger's Log entry......

May 4-11, 2013...WL courtyard view.. 30anniv and DD college grad trip.

That's very thoughtful of you. The day after our DD's college graduation (1990) we had her drive us to the airport so that just DH & could take a 3 week vacation resort hopping in the Virgin Islands, both US and British. Our 25th anniversary had been 5 months earlier. BTW, she currently lives near you, in Niles, MI.

If you are staying club level, I would recommend that you call the IPO (itinerary planning office) for the WL (Kook has the number on the first page where of this thread where it talks about Club Level).

They will be glad to note your room request on your reservation.

I totally agree! Since you are CL though they will work with you to make your stay even more special. Give the IPO a call and do the online if you want to get the credit card all set up, but for CL your checkin process should involve them meeting you in front and taking you directly up to club level and bypassing the front desk altogether. Very nice :) Enjoy your trip, it will be here soon!

Just booked 3 night after our January cruise on the Dream. Will be there 24-27. We usually stay at the Beach Club and just returned Tuesday from 10 days there. We also bought DVC this trip (AKL). Since our Jan trip was so soon after this last big trip and we are only doing 2 day park passes we decided to stay in the MK area. Tried for BLT (wait listed) but confirmed for VWL. I have never stayed here before. Looking forward to learning all about it! popcorn::

I just stayed at BLT and it was wonderful. VWL gets rated very highly on AllEars; I think you'll be pleased. There aren't many room view choices, but most guests request a woods view or a woods view with Bay Lake in the background, although the views of the lake are obstructed.

Check out the Carolewood Pacific room when you're there. Lots of great train memorabilia and cozy seating.

Opps, I meant to type...

WL/CL July 19-27 2013 -- 25th Anniversary!!!

(would hate to cut our trip short a day!! :lmao: )

It's taken care of.

You've been added!

What a great time to go with low crowds. Do you homeschool? Happy birthday to your DS!

Just wanted to add that you can very easily email the IPO and they will respond within 24 hours. They can verify that your requests are in your reservation, etc. Have they contacted you? The email address is:

Thanks! I am spending the last few hours at "work" playing on the DIS boards. :rolleyes1 In just over 24 hours we will be there, and will post once we have our room. We don't arrive at MCO until 6:30 PM though, but we should still make it to WL for dinner.

Leaving next Thursday.. Boy do I need it!!! One MUST DO at the lodge/villas?
other than eating of course! I am in a one bedroom villa !!!!:cool1:

Wow, that is great that at there are zero people there- enjoy not waiting in line!! Like Kathymford said, I hope that keeps up! We'll hit our first park on Sept. 18.

We check into WL on September 18th too! :yay: I hope the crowd level stays the same.

trying to convince DH to stay at WLfor one night before our CR stay next August. He wanted Poly, but was overruled by the kids. My DDs all wanted to stay at WL bc they love the pool. I was thinking CL for the night, if a room only discount comes out.

Is this crazy to just stay for one night?

Very exciting!!! The big countdown is on..10 sleeps (we're staying at POP on Sept 17 for 1 night before WL). Hope you have a fantastic trip!!!

Our flight is landing at 11:20 pm, then we have to get our bags, pickup our rental car and drive to the resort so somehow I couldn't justify the cost of another night at WL. Plus I want to drive up to WL for the first time in the daylight:goodvibes We aren't on a dining plan although we have booked a couple table service dinners
