Not sure if everyone knows this, but I know some have allergies. At Artist Point.

Desserts

Artist Point Cobbler - with Seasonal Berries and House-made Black Raspberry ice Cream. NOTE: Gluten, sugar and nut-free available. $11.00

Thanks for the info. I'm new to the allergen world and I'm currently figuring out what things are a total no, what things are okay in moderation, and what are safe so it's nice to know options.

Some might be classified as woods view OPPOSITE of where I was..they look over the walkway between WL and VWL 2134,2136 etc

From the room map it looks like 2106 to 2120 would be 2nd floor woods view rooms. We were in room 3104 and that was a woods view room. The rooms numbered 2130 to 2164 are courtyard view according to the room map.

i am back!! Had a great trip. I was ecstatic that I was upgraded from Standard to main courtyard..I had requested 2nd floor because I like to be on Lobby Level and avoid elevators. I got room 2135 which was behind the waterfall/overlook area. It was great!!

They are working on the waterfall and stream so it wasn't running. I have pictures I will upload later.

Dinner at AP was my first time there and it was very nice.

It was strange to be on a solo trip, especially after being at AKL the weekend before, but I chatted with lots of people at the pools and common areas, so it was nice.

Any idea how long the waterfall and stream will be unoperational? We are travelling next week for our first stay at WL and was so looking forward to seeing this.:worship:

Can anybody tell me...or direct me to where the info is.... how many king bed rooms there are in courtyard view? We are booked 12/15-22 for our 20th anniversary trip in courtyard view...really hoping for a king bed!!

Disney doesn't make specific room info easy to find, but from what I have seen and found online there are generally a few (4 or less) King bed rooms on each floor. One exception is the first floor, which has quite a few (10+) King bed rooms but they are almost all Handicapped accessible, which means you get a different bathroom configuration and no tub, just a shower. There are 4 King bear face rooms, which would be very nice but could be hard to get, and of course they open to the lobby which some prefer while others do not.
Overall approximately half of the King rooms are Handicapped accessible, so your odds of getting one will improve if you're willing to take one of those. We had one on our honeymoon, but it appears that same room has a Queen with bunks now. Good luck and enjoy your trip, it should be beautiful all decorated for the holidays.

I am not sure.. They had trees around the lobby bridge and it was totally dry .. But it looked clean so maybe not much longer

Thanks a bunch! That's one reason we picked WL was because of the Christmas decorations!

We are currently booked in a 1 bedroom villa, but there is only a $30/day difference between that and club level deluxe. Looks like villa offers more room, but trying to weigh this against club level breakfast and nightly snacks (and more importantly drinks). Would appreciate any thoughts or preferences.

1 BR gives you laundry though...? But no breakfast, snacks, or drinks and apps... Hmmm...tough choice

I stayed at WL last year with no problems. I'm only asking because I read a recent review on another website that they could smell bad bathroom smells from other rooms in their bathrooms. They even got transferred to a Deluxe Club Room because of this - maintenance tried to fix it but couldn't so they were transferred instead. But the reviewer says they still had the same problems. Not sure what to make of it. We have a stay there next week. Thanks.

Nope... Didn't have a problem in my room. But I would take a bad smell if it meant an upgrade to deluxe room!! Lol

Hello! Don't worry. Issues do happen from time to time as in any resort. But maintenance is always right on the ball. Great maintenance department.

And like you read, if they cannot fix it they will move your room. :goodvibes

We were at the lodge last week as well and had no issues with the bathroom. Have fun!

Booked our red-eye flight last night for our August trip. We're arriving 8am. We can't wait to stay at WL! :cool1:

Thanks for the replies. It did seem like it was one reviewer out of many, but I don't understand why she said the problem continued even once they were in the new room.

So, going ahead with WL CL reservations as planned. I agree lovely staff at the WL. DD can't wait to go back because of some pixie dust she got there last year - she was early at the pool and the lifeguards let her open the pool and be the pool sheriff! So now WL has trumped GF, BWI and CR when it comes to where to stay. DH thinks it's the best CL in terms of atmosphere, although there is bit more variety at GF SL.

So we are planning to go to Disney August 2-9 and when we went to book months ago through DVC WL was booked so we settled on OKW and are currently being wait listed for WL for a deluxe studio. I have been checking everyday to see if it will open up and it has been booked through both DVC & non DVC. Has anyone ever wait listed around this time for WL? As each day goes by it seems like we won't be getting in :worried:
