Weird question, do they have wildnerness lodge tier is tumblers?? I thought I saw some mention of them before, but didn't know if anyone has seen them recently. Thanks!

they had the one last week that was an insulated cup and lid LIKE a Tervis, it had the totem pole on it and came with the straw. Most like the Starbucks mugs you can buy

They have been doing Weddings on the Sunrise Patio overlooking the courtyard. I have seen a wedding there. It is a very small area and only holds maybe 10 people including bride and groom.

We did ours on the cruise and it was $1500. We were married at the courthouse so a wedding for $1500 was a deal! lol

Thanks for getting back to me! I don't think it would be more than 10 people...we love it at WL but probably wouldn't renew our vows for a few years since we just got married!

2 weeks from today we will be checking into WL. Our first time @ the lodge. My grandaughters are getting excited also. Looking forward to staying here.

Do any of the standard club level rooms have bad views? I see they've become available for our trip and I'll book them but I don't want views of the delivery areas. Thanks

Technically approximately 1/4 of the CL rooms are in the same section of the wing as the Standard View rooms that are above the delivery area. Even numbered rooms 7042-7066 are in this area.

We've never stayed CL, but you don't see many complaints about these rooms' location, probably because they are higher above the delivery area and have enclosed balconies which might further block any noise. These rooms also face towards MK, which many people enjoy.

Thank-you for the information! I requested an inner courtyard view. We'll see if we get pixie dusted.

We had a view of the smokehouse on the North side. At first I was disappointed for being over the delivery area, but the view of the fireworks (while sitting down, they were that high) was amazing and the trucks didn't bother us

you can see the monorail swish by and the boats

Kook, DH n I are sitting here trying to figure out the dates n whether or not we should bring the kids! (Ummm young adults?!?!:rotfl:)
Your "kids" could prove useful by helping to drive, load/unload luggage, fetch things in the lounge for you:rotfl:. How could you not go without them? But, scheduling with kids can prove frustrating and often means going at peak times:upsidedow. I don't think they'd have any of that nefarious plan of yours:stir:. Having said that, what did you and DH decide?

It's been two months since our trip to VWL with no trip in the works, I come here regularly to live vicariously through you all. Thanks for your posts and pics. My DD (3) and I spent some time today looking a pics and videos of our trip...hoping to keep the memory alive since she's so young. We made a shadow box today and hung in her room to commemorate her first trip. Included her WL magnet she picked out at the mercantile. Happy Mother's Day to you all!
Awww, we all know how you feel. The best cure is to book something and fast! You can always tweak and cancel later on:stir:

We just booked WL for the week prior to Thanksgiving. I can't WAIT to stay here!!
Fantastic!

We are coming to WDW for our 2nd trip Sept 20-27. We were supposed to be staying at POFQ but with the discounts released, we ended up upgrading to WL (it's where we really wanted to stay anyways). Our 1st trip last year, after checking into the Cabins at FW we went to WL for lunch at Whispering Canyon. As soon as we walked in, we all said we'd love to stay there sometime. We can't wait!
Congratulations on booking and I'll log your dates. What a fantastic upgrade and this year when you eat at WCC, you can go right from your WL room:love:

So excited my hubby and I will be celebrating our 20th anniversary at WL Dec 15-22!!
WL is the perfect resort to celebrate anniversaries. Do you have your anniversary dinner spot picked out yet?

...from our first stay at the Lodge and I must say we are in love:lovestruc had such a fabulous time--awesome weather, good times, great food, and some of the nicest CMs at the Lodge that we have ever met. I will do a full trip report soon. Hope to start planning our next stay soon......!
Deidre
WL CMs are the best, aren't they? Let us know when you're booked again:thumbsup2

Somebody pass me a drink from the Territory Lounge. Please?

(Shh, so far the kids don't even know we're going).

And, it's our little secret:ssst:

Not sure if everyone knows this, but I know some have allergies. At Artist Point.

Desserts

Artist Point Cobbler - with Seasonal Berries and House-made Black Raspberry ice Cream. NOTE: Gluten, sugar and nut-free available. $11.00
Mmmm...Thank you for letting everyone know:)

We are here till Thursday. Room 7042 view of castle, fireworks and monorail . Perfect!
:yay:

We are currently booked in a 1 bedroom villa, but there is only a $30/day difference between that and club level deluxe. Looks like villa offers more room, but trying to weigh this against club level breakfast and nightly snacks (and more importantly drinks). Would appreciate any thoughts or preferences.
Am I too late to chime in?
CLCLCLCLCLCLCLCLCDELUXEDELUXEDELUXEDELUXECLCLCLCL...

Also, CL CMs really add to your stay and the Deluxe rooms are beautiful.

Hello! Don't worry. Issues do happen from time to time as in any resort. But maintenance is always right on the ball. Great maintenance department.

And like you read, if they cannot fix it they will move your room. :goodvibes
ITA and I'll add that WL maintenance and OFC staff have always taken care of any issues we've encountered promptly.

Staying at WL for the first time in October! Cannot wait!! :cool1:
You're going to love it!

Booked our red-eye flight last night for our August trip. We're arriving 8am. We can't wait to stay at WL! :cool1:
That's great that you'll arrive so early:thumbsup2

So we are planning to go to Disney August 2-9 and when we went to book months ago through DVC WL was booked so we settled on OKW and are currently being wait listed for WL for a deluxe studio. I have been checking everyday to see if it will open up and it has been booked through both DVC & non DVC. Has anyone ever wait listed around this time for WL? As each day goes by it seems like we won't be getting in :worried:
I'm sorry that I can't help answer your question, but hopefully, one of our DVC experts will. If not, there is a VWL/DVC thread that should be able to help you.

How exciting and it won't be long now:yay:

We love the inner CV CL rooms and if you're in the South Wing, you can even see a bit of Wishes.

Is that the ultimate long island tea?
I don't recall "ultimate" (does that mean top shelf?) in the title, but it was in fact a Long Island Iced Tea from Trout Pass. I couldn't find my TL drink photos. I may have drunk my Territory Lounge drinks too quickly for photos:scratchin

Hi, I've only read the last few pages, so pardon if this has been asked already, but does anyone know if WL will run boats early for the 6am MK opening on 5/23?

:scared:  still trying to decide!

....especially sitting in the sun by the pool :beach::rotfl2:
Aaaaaand you had more than one of those?!?!?! :drinking1 :drinking1

;)

How do you request a certain floor or balcony view? Reservations are for a courtyard view and would like a king bed

I am sooooo excited to be staying at WL 6/28 - 7/5 I have wanted to stay here for several years and hubby finally said yes!!!:cool1:

We are splitting the difference between my birthday :cheer2: and our anniversary so we have lots to celebrate this time! So I am hoping for some luck and a nice CM to help us with and upgrade! Right now we have a courtyard view. Any hints on how to get (if you even can get) an upgrade??

Thanks for the input on club level deluxe vs 1 bedroom villa. Looks like only downside is no laundry, bummer how will I handle not doing laundry on vacation ; ).

One more question, looks like from room diagrams bathroom access is through the bathroom AND living area. Just wanted to confirm this as we will have a little one who still naps and wanted to be sure I could access the shower without going through the bedroom.

Yes you can access the bathroom from both the living room and the bedroom. We loved the layout and thought it was perfect with a small napping child! Also liked that it had 2 beds in the bedroom vs the 1 bed villas. We would put DD to bed and then could hang out in the living room/balcony in the evenings enjoying our glass of wine from the CL lounge!

The room request options that you can select when doing online check in includes choices for a certain floor. But they do not include options for a certain balcony view. So you would have to call resort reservations and have it added to your reservation that way.

Is there a bad woods view room? And I'm still very nervous that we would get the handicapped room since we are only two ppl. This girl needs her tub an separate area to do her makeup lol
