Hey guys, how do you go about making room requests? I know some people will fax them down, is that still an option? Is email better? If faxing is the best option does anyone have the number or who I should address is to?

Curious as to which CDs you have???

I have around 25-30 Disney CDs! One of my online Disney friends from years ago made me some park CDs that are my favorite though. I don't know where she got the files. I know there are places online that have park music ( I subscribe to live365.com just for the park music) but you can't make CDs from them. I do have a few that I bought at Disney or on amazon. Music from Disney's Animal Kingdom is a great one. Don't know if it's still available. I also have the Spectromagic soundtrack cd and some that are no longer available. My other favorite is one we made there at a kiosk. If I knew then that they were going to get rid of those kiosks, I would have made more than one! We did that one together as a family and it has Horizons, 2 acoustic guitar pieces from AK, carousel music and the Haunted Mansion dining room dance music. The recent release of a 4 disc set (which I bought even though I have most of the tracks already!) is called Disney Classics and has one disc devoted to theme park music. It's pretty good, but my favorite music is the ambient background music, especially the music hidden in the landscaping! That's why I paid to subscribe to live365- just to hear the music around The Living Seas that can transport me back instantly to trips from the 90's when my daughter was little. Sorry this was so long! I just love (mostly classic) Disney music!

The most reliable way to send non Club Level room requests is to call the central reservations office with your requests and confirmation number. 407-W-DISNEY is one number that works.

For Club Level you can contact the IPO through a few different methods to add requests.

There are non handicapped king rooms, but being willing to take a handicapped room increases your chances of getting a king bed. This happened to us on our honeymoon. We had requested a king room, and were given a handicapped room. We asked about switching to get a tub, and all that was available were rooms with queen beds at the time so we stuck with the handicapped accessible room. In your case I'd request a tub as your first request and a king bed as your second request. They will do their best to meet both requests, but there are no guarantees.

We checked in yesterday and we DID get EXACTLY the room I requested on CL!!! It's awesome! We are in 7127 and the CM told us it's one of the best views in the building. Yay me!

We are LOVING WL....it's just beautiful. Even though it was chilly and rainy today, we loved the walk down to the boat dock. SO pretty!

We were hoping for that room too!!!!
We're checking in on Sunday.
I'm glad it was another Dis Board member that got it!!! Maybe we'll run into one another!!! It will be just DH & I...wonder where we'll be????????
I'm just soooo excited that we'll be both WL AND CL,any room is fine!!!!!!

Hi guys! I'm heading to WL on a Mommy and son short vaca in a couple months while DH is on a business trip. So excited to try out this resort.

We have three nights and two days at MK. We have a character ADR for lunch both park days. I booked WC for dinner after the first park day, but I'm wondering if it's going to be too much stimulation after a long EMH / RD day. My son is 5, and we go pretty hard at the park.

I am wondering if it makes more sense to do WC Cafe the night we arrive instead, but I am afraid to make an ADR for that in case the flight is delayed. We arrive around 4 PM and are taking ME. Should I be able to walk up to WC Cafe on a Wed night?

We'll be on Pacific Time, but after a long day of flights and having an early morning the next day, I don't want to wait a long time to eat.

Eating here is not a must, but I thought it sounded fun.

They may not have been offering one at that time. If they were, it is normally in the middle of your welcome packet you receive upon check in or on the table in your room. Otherwise you can call 8844 from your room and ask if there is a current bounceback offer. If there is, you have to book it before you check out.

I know it is a matter of opinion but is there a location in the Villas that we don't want? We have a 1 bedroom reserved from March 29-April 5. I have never been to this resort so I don't know anything about other that what I have read at the beginning of this thread.

I don't think you should have too much trouble getting in to WCC on your arrival night without an ADR. In our experience it gets less crowded about 8PM, and being on Pacific time that might work out well for you. If for some reason it is too crowded, there's always Roaring Fork, which we tend to do on the night we arrive.
Sticking with it on your first park day doesn't sound too bad either, since it will get you back to the hotel around dinner time, but I think it would be more fun for him if he were less tired.
Either way, enjoy your trip.

That would be fantastic if the decorations were up! But I'm not counting on it. That way I won't be disappointed if they aren't!

VWL is a small resort and just about all the views are trees. Sometimes you can get a glimpse of the lake through the trees or a bit of the pool.

Also, what is the latest time you can take the boat back to WL from MK? Is the boat back on the last trip a long wait with a lot of people trying to go back at end of night?

Does anyone have an estimate of how long it takes to get from WL to parking lot? Also, is the parking lot close to WL or closer to VWL?

Just trying to manage schedule so can be at rope drop on time.

It has never taken more than 5 minutes or so for us to walk from the front of the hotel to our car. We frequently drive to Epcot, DHS and AK to be there way before park opening.

Hey Dis'ers just jumping in to scream a little because I am getting almost 50% off our room in April!!! I was booked under AP rates @ 35% and came across the cheaptickets deal and bam, now we are paying $235 a night for WL. $235/night for a deluxe, thank you very much!

I had a question about transportation to the MK in the morning. What time does the boat start running in the morning? Looks like only 30 minutes before park opening? Just trying to see if we could take the boat in the morning and still make it in plenty of time for RD or if we are better off taking the bus in the morning and using the boat for afternoon breaks and at the end of the night.

I would take the bus to the park (5 minutes tops-no stops!) then enjoy the boat ride home!

Not sure if it's actually non-stop anymore. I thought I read that since the monorail has been out of service, the WL MK bus has been making a stop at CR. This could go on till March when the MK Resort monorail is running during the day again.

I know that GrandCalifornian answered your question, but I just wanted to post that I think that only POR accepts faxes. Always have all your requests added to your reservation by calling the WDTC or doing it when you book.

Try WCC as a walk-up if you're still inclined after your long trip. Tables for two are much easier to get everywhere as walk-ups and this will give you some flexibility.
