Good morning Lodgers,

Some have been asking about the coffee here at the Lodge. I hope I can help.

The Lodge now serves Joffrey's coffee, in the restaurants, rooms, etc. In the rooms they use the small pods.

Up in the Club Level they will have Joffrey's in the room (using the pods), and in the Lounge they have Joffrey's in the thermal carafes in both caffinated and decaf.

We now have a new Nespresso machine. Out went the old Nescafe machine. Nice machine with some getting used to.

The Nespresso machine makes espressos and cappuccinos. :thumbsup2 This machine does not make regular coffee. :coffee:

Morning! Joining the thread in anticipation of our upcoming stay at the Lodge in August!

Very excited to be doing a 3 resort split with WL being our arrival resort! :)

What are the chances of getting a bunk bed room with a club level room?

We have always requested and always received a bunk bed room.

If that it your #1 priority, make sure it is first on your request list, such as:

Bunk Bed Room
Inner Courtyard
View of Silver Springs
North Wing

Also, I email (I think our last trip I called) IPO a few days before our arrival to triple check they had our requests in and thank them again for all they do, etc, etc. By this time you will have hopefully established a bit of a repore with them between dining ressies, questions, etc.
;)

Enjoy!

Last day here :(

Leaving tomorrow on tr DME at 12:30pm

Tomorrow will not be a good day

We will be staying club level 10/22-10/26 but have not received any info regarding assistance with ADRs who would I contact? Or will someone contact us at some point.

Have already made several online but would like to know what services are available this will be our first time staying club level.

If we would like a bunk bed room with an enclosed balcony, would I request woods view or courtyard view or does it matter? They are just on 6th floor, correct?

If you are staying club level, then all of the rooms have an enclosed balcony. Bunkbeds are a request only for club level. If you are not staying club level, then you would have to book either a woods view-bunk bed room or a courtyard view-bunkbed room and then request enclosed balcony. :)

As for the floors with enclosed balconies: in general - the top floors of each wing have the enclosed balconies. Since the top floor of the wings that are closest to the lobby have a 7th floor, then those rooms have the enclosed balconies. The 6th floors of those wings have open balconies. If you are in the north wing-Otter Pond section (closest to the lake) or the south wing section that is closest to the lake, those wings have only 6 floors, so the 6th floor has enclosed balconies. There are a few enclosed balconies scattered around, too. There are three rooms on the third floor above the Cubs Den that have enclosed balconies, for example. So, in short, requesting a specific floor doesn't guarantee an enclosed balcony. :)

I just got back from an impromptu weekend visit. We stayed at PO-R, and I can honestly say that I've been spoiled by WL! All I could think about was WL the entire time - can't wait to go back!!!

Hmm...considering a split stay between POR and WL...

Thank you! I am thinking of dropping CL... But I still like the enclosed balcony (call me crazy) and I definitely want bunk beds, so...was trying to figure out the way to most likely get a room like that. :-)

Yeah, like Wood Nymph explained the highest floor in a section has the enclosed balconies. If you're not staying CL, then this will be the East end of the wings on the 6th floor, which makes up a large number of rooms. Of these rooms, 1/4 are woods View and 3/4 are courtyard view, so I would think you would have a better chance of getting your requests met with Courtyard view. I would be sure to request enclosed balcony so that they know why you want to be on the 6th floor and you don't end up below a CL room (which would therefore have an open balcony).

We're trying POR for our next trip, but feel a POR/WL split would be a neat way to go too. :thumbsup2

Can someone tell me how many people they will allow you to book in a wood view room? Can you have 3 adults and 2 children? I just want to add 2 of them to the reservation, they won't all be sleeping there. Thanks

I'm so excited! After switching resorts a few times, I have finally decided on the WL for my upcoming trip with a dear family friend's daughter (age 11)!!! It will be her first visit to WDW. I am so excited to share the magic of WDW with her. She is like a daughter to me, and I can't wait for her to experience WDW for the first time. She is so excited and can't stop talking about the trip each time I see her. We booked a courtyard view, and will be at the WL from 7/17 to 7/22. Come on July!!!
