So sorry that you and your family are having to go through this.
I'll echo everyone else. If you have to stay for a severance package or to collect unemployment I understand staying the 2 weeks. Then call WDW and see if there is anything the can do to help. It is a lot of $$ you don't just want to loose. If you aren't getting a package and could still collect unemployment (if such is an option/plan) I'd tell them to shove it....but get the reference letter first!

So sorry to hear about your situation.
I agree with the others about calling Disney and seeing about postponing your trip. It would be terrible for you to lose all that money and the vacation. I hope an alternative is presented to you.
Maybe a spouse or family member can take them. I wish you the best of luck.
