125% for my August 8 Fantasy... here I come ! (Had booked same cruise and week for next year about month ago)... time to set a new countdown
Hey, gotta make best of it...
The other thing is that the Dream was rumoured to go for dry dock in early October so odds are that even if sailing was to resume around Sept. 15, the Dream may not be back before late October/early November
The slow crawl to cancelling cruises for the rest of the year
paid for 7 out of the 9 going on the September cruise. So would that be 100% refund on my CC or 125% in their future sailing account?

This is the second rebooked cruise for us
100% agreed. Unsustainable is the perfect word for this. The industry is on the brink of catastrophe. (As is the entire economy). 100% virus free can’t be the benchmark for normalcy. These are unsustainable numbers. They need to get this thing figured out or a lot of lines aren't going to come out of this thing when it's over. Carnival alone announced yesterday they had quarterly loss of $4.4 billion dollars. That's just one quarter.
According to this CLIA article "Each day of the suspension of cruise operations in the U.S. results in a total loss of approximately $110 million in economic activity and up to 800 American jobs".
I'm less scared of getting this now than I was two months ago
That was us too! One in September, one in November! Not unexpected, but sad to read. RIP our September cruise. Moving on to hoping our November cruise will go.
Anyone else part of the multiple cruises cancelled/rescheduled club? Will there be a gold level?![]()
