We are going to fly out of the Cleveland airport in early Sept. to go to Aulani in Hawaii and I am looking for some kind of discount parking since we will be gone for 22 days. I have looked at some of the park and fly packages available and one that keeps popping up is at the Ramada. Is that a good place to park?

Here in Buffalo we have a car rental place off-site (Dollar) that also parks cars which is cheap and I was kind of looking for something like that but I can't find any in Cleveland.

Any ideas for me?

Thanks for the link, but I have already checked most of the Stay, Park and Fly hotels in the area. Most do not have a shuttle available as early as I would need it (5 am). Still leaning to the Ramada, but don't know if it is a good part of town or not as I have never been to Cleveland before.

If its the Ramada on BrookPark Rd ---- NO its not a good one NOT safe. Its a hotel that can be rented by the hour if you know what I mean!

My first suggestion would be to stay at the Sheraton which is located at the airport. Has 24 hour airport shuttle or you can walk via the walkway to the airport is takes about 5-8 minutes to walk. They have a park and fly rate of $149 for 8 days of free parking but you would need to call to ask what it would cost for days 9-22 it looks like from the web sight that days 9-22 would be billed at $10 a day. Which if you park at a offsite location and pay $7.50 a day - which is the typical rate for most offsite airport parking for Cleveland- for 22 days would cost $165 where as the Sheraton hotel cost to pay for 8 free day plus 13 day additional days at $10 would be $130. Plus it would be convient for you to stay here and not have to move your car.

Or another option would be http://www.lq.com/lq/properties/pro...NCH=0&availability.palsra_AMC2=&saveRoomPref=

Or I would stay at the Courtyard. It is 2 minutes from the LQ hotel. Both hotels are right off the main highway (RT 480) that takes you to the airport. Both hotels are by a nice mall and several places to eat. In fact if you stay at the courtyard you can walk to 3 restaruants, Chili's, Macaroni Grill and Lone Star. I have stayed about both and they are nice. The courtyard is very close to a walmart that is open 24 hours.

The LQ and Courtyard hotels I mentioned are very close to the airport takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the airport. As for parking we prefer Airport Fast Park. It runs about $7.50 a day and quick pick up service and car is parked under a roof which is good for bad weather days. You can go on their web sight and applied for a free frequent parker card and I think the daily rate is $7.00 a day.

**** one other thing. Cleveland airport has the body scanner at security so everything has to come out of your pockets, that includes paper money, kleenex ect.

Send me a PM if you have any other questions. I live 25 minutes from the airport and drive by it everyday for work and can answer any questions you might have.

Thank you for the information. I like the Airport Fast Park idea as we would feel better with a covered area. According to my calculation, we can park the entire time at Airport Fast Park and pay less than the overnight at the Sheraton. We can stay someplace else cheap overnight or free using points, since we need to be at the airport about 5 am.
