I believe there's a phrase for that.

No, you didn't say it. bjakmom did.
And, all I did was reply to her post (and shorten some of it.)
This board's software will sometimes glitch (imagine that!) and attribute a quote to another DISser.
I went back and manually edited that post and quote to correct the issue.
Whatever happened to the reports of CM's linking arms and walking down main street "sweeping" people without bands out of the park? I swear I read that here, but maybe I am crazy?
No need to get all huffy about it. Thank you for going back and editing it (not that there was anything wrong with what bjakmom said, just wanted it to be clear)
Isn't it possible that Disney is also selling more tickets making it more crowded?
Sorry that I was unclear. We know we can stay until 7:00, but we're not the type to leave things until the last minute.Guests are welcome to experience anything they care to before 7 PM. They are allowed to walk into a restaurant with a 6:55 ADR, have a leisurely meal and then are escorted to teh gates. They can step into line at 6:55 and are able to go onto that last attraction without being harassed to leave. No one who is in the park and participating in any given activity before 7 PM is cheating any system. They are enjoying what they paid for. The sad commentary is from those who feel that people should are enjoying activities that Disney clearly has allowed them to do are cheaters. They are not.
No problem. We have a lot of people who do accuse guests who choose to use the entire day at MK and then book a late dinner so they do not lose any park time of being free loaders, or trying to take advantage of for free what others have paid for. I think I may be over sensitive about it now.Sorry that I was unclear. We know we can stay until 7:00, but we're not the type to leave things until the last minute.
Huffy?
I assure you that no "huff" was intended.
I didn't even notice the misattribution until you pointed it out.
That was my guess. Since they started parties later this year (which I guess means less parties?), maybe they increased the amount of tickets allowed per party to make up revenue.Isn't it possible that Disney is also selling more tickets making it more crowded?
I just received a call back replying to my email i sent
and was told that disney hasn't changed the number of tickets being sold for the past 4 years
Well you're entitled to your own opinion that's for sure my logic behind why ppl think it's getting more crowded each year is less attractions are offeredSorry, not buying that company line! lol
We've gone to MNSSHP for about the past 10 years and that's what we've seen every year.I completely disagree with this. I was at MK tonight with my little one. Around 6:35 we got in line for Peter Pan. By the time we got off the ride it was a little after 7. At that point they were checking wristbands before letting people get in line for the ride. Went towards stroller parking by the Rapunzel bathrooms to retrieve our stroller & toddler started doing the potty dance. As I took her into the bathroom I was stopped by a cast member standing with a manager near the entrance and very politely told the park was closed & after we left the bathroom we would only be able to exit one direction. There was a cast member in the female restroom actively checking it & reporting on a radio how many people without wristbands remained. When we left the restroom nobody followed or escorted us but there were cast members blocking certain paths strategically and checking wristbands as we walked out. We had to exit out the back way behind Main St because nobody without a wristband was being allowed anywhere near the hub. It was about 7:30 by the time we finally got out of the park but I think they did a great job getting people without wristbands out!
They may not be offering any more tickets, but there may be more sold of the ones that they are offeringWell you're entitled to your own opinion that's for sure my logic behind why ppl think it's getting more crowded each year is less attractions are offered
Therefore the few things that are everyone clusters together, if everyone would spread completely out over the park it would be very empty, but everyone wants what they deem best viewing spots for parades when they can scoot down or cross the street or go to different area
The stage shows are only one location so of course everyone will group together for that, however by taking away major characters meet and greets those ppl then pile into the clusters making it feel even more crowded
I'm confident and trusting when Disney says something so I believe that they probably haven't sold additional number of tickets
Now the bloggers and reporters getting in free are an exception but they aren't every party
They sell far too many tickets for the whole park but that's another discussion. It's a riot to think of people being packed into Tomorrowland.
I agree, and I have no problem saying that I have done it. I didn't try to cheat when the person checking missed an entire group of us, we walked to the exit and left.actually, as busy as it was, we just wanted out of there!!No problem. We have a lot of people who do accuse guests who choose to use the entire day at MK and then book a late dinner so they do not lose any park time of being free loaders, or trying to take advantage of for free what others have paid for. They are not paying much attention then.I went on a party night and was shocked at the number of people who had no idea they were supposed to leave at 7:00. I saw the shocked looks on several different groups faces as they were told the park would be closed to them at 7:00. We meandered from Buzz to the hub and down Main Street and our the exit at about 6:45. Then we went back to OKW and the boys went swimming and DW and I had a Turtle Krawl or 2 or 3.
They are not paying much attention then.
We've gone into MK various ways on party days. They make announcements about 'today's hours' on the buses, parking lot trams, monorails, and ferries.
The park time guide and signs in the park say when closing is for the day.
