Cleaning up after the storm

Unless it's last summer! We wait all winter for the promise of summer and last year it was yanked right out from under us!

So true!!!! We were robbed!!!! and we so deserved a good summer because last winter was LONG!

I'm looking at more than two feet of snow piled on top of the bird feeder. It looks so cool I don't want to knock it off.
I think we've had 30 inches in the last week.
Tis the season!

We have a guy do our driveway for $30/pass. This storm had him through twice but now we are good. Our driveway is gravel too which is more difficult to plow/shovel. DH did the deck in the back about three times during the storm, lastly yesterday afternoon so it's clear. We don't bother with the front steps, we just use the garage! We hardly use the front steps anywa.

You should clear the front steps in case of a fire. Not to sound all negative, but if you let the snow pile up it can actually prevent you from opening the door- if you live somewhere that gets a lot of snow in the winter. It was hard to open the door for the dog when we first got up yesterday.
