Cleaning Service Question

We are staying in the cabins in January. What does the cleaning service look like? Is it daily or every other day? More importantly, what actually is done? DW and myself had decided that the gift card was not worth sacrificing the cleaning. The idea of coming back to the cabin to a clean room after the parks was worth it. Do they redo the beds? Or is it just emptying trash and replacing towels? If it is the later, we can just call and get towels ourselves.

Also, are they still offering a gift card if you forefo the cleaning?

I dont think any resort is having a daily maid service at the moment. You can call and request towels or sheets but you will be making the beds

I don't believe there is a gift card offer right now. Currently the standard is a "light cleaning" every-other-day, which basically consists of trash and towels, wiping down sinks and maybe vacuuming.

Yup. We had an 11 night stay at Pop and the beds were never touched. Never made, never any new sheets.

For the price they are charging, that is absolutely ridiculous. And if they try to say it is because of germs- that’s just silly considering all the other industries functioning during covid (in my opinion)

We have stayed at a Hilton twice and housekeeping never came in our room during our stay. We left the waste basket outside the door and they emptied it. We had no problem with how it was handled.

I kinda thought they'd change the sheets at least once during a stay that long, but nope.
