City, Sand, and Savanna - Link to new trip report

Crazy I tell you. :rotfl2:

I like all the PP pictures and yes the slanted one makes me dizzy too.

I like when the PP are interactive and really try to give you something other than the standard - stand there and smile photo.

Not so much for the humor factor but the character positioning I like the Princess and the frog border too. :thumbsup2

Dang it too!!! I even missed the bouquet !!!:rotfl2:But I did bet Marv !!!;):rotfl2:Glenn thse are some great PP pix !!I loved he Frog and the Princess border !!!:goodvibes

Get to the update just in the nick of time annnndddd... too late for Judy sightings. I just can't win!

Anyways, all the photos came out great! I agree with Judy, the Princess and the Frog border looks the best. Best Disney Movie Ever! :goodvibes And the progression of the Tinker Bell photos is quite brilliant. ;) To get four people to do the same thing in a photo is quite the task. ::yes::

We walked out of the American Experience and the kids had apparently had enough time with us old fogeys, so they took off on their own. If I ever find out where they went and what they did, I'll update you in a future chapter.

Look at you, giving your kids such freedom and independence. That Amurrican Experience must have had an effect on you.

I went to change some settings on my camera and when I turned it on...nothing. Danged battery! But then I figured out that while in the American Experience I had turned the display brightness down as far as it would go so that I wouldn't bother people behind me when I took pictures. Now that I was out in the bright sunshine, I couldn’t see anything on the display even though it was actually on. I was able to shade it and get everything reset and my mini-crisis was averted. Whew!

I don't see anything.

Use your open eye, Frank.

He asked me to kiss Judy on the cheek and I was happy to oblige. She didn't seem to mind.

Well, that's a relief.

This next picture demonstrates a pet-peeve I have about Photopass photographers. If any of you read this, please, please, please try to keep the horizon level. I get dizzy looking at this one, and the limited editing software on the Disney Photopass website doesn't have the functionality to tweak the rotation.

This is EPCOT after a couple of those Grand Marnier slushies.

And then he asked Judy to kiss me on the cheek. I didn't mind either.

Well, that's a relief.

Then he used his camera, and put Tink in the picture too. Gram didn't quite know where to look apparently. And I thought that my Dad was blinking, but his eyelids look the same throughout all of these pictures so I think he was just squinting from the sun.

Yeah, that Tink is nice and all, but check out that pigeon over there!:rotfl2:

Dang it .......:rotfl2::rotfl2::bride:

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Amazing! Is there a prize for most 2nd-place finishes?

When you said Lovey dovey mushy pictures, you weren't kidding! Still, nothing like a good photo update :)

Thank you for reminding me of my (ages ago) 1 Judy-sighting point! Now that I'm back on the DIS I've got to get back on my game!

Such sweet PP pictures!:goodvibes I hope some of them ended up in frames because they are definitely frame worthy. I enjoyed the different frames too and agree the Princess Frog is the "bees knees".

You know, not that it's a big surprise at all, but to make an update of nothing but PP photos, in the same location no less, and make it that entertaining... well done my friend. :thumbsup2

Great pictures. They really are lovely dovey and all that. Everyone looks so happy. What great memories!

First time reader and I'm all caught up! I have been absolutely loving your TR!! The PP pics turned out great!
I'm so going to have to remember the Rainforest Cafe entrance for AK!! :cool1:

It looks like it was close, but I'm glad Mark had enough fingers and toes to count all the Judy's.

I was able to shade it and get everything reset and my mini-crisis was averted. Whew!
Momentary memory loss is always better than a dead battery.

Look at her face...pure bliss, I tell ya!
Is that what it is? Judy??? :rolleyes1

I don't know if he gave Judy instructions to stand like Aladdin, or if he asked both of us and I missed it or what.
I've got to think it has something to do with that whole deer in the headlights thing you had going on.

She especially liked the last one though, I must say.
:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: That's great!

And finally Poppy. This is a nice one.
::yes:: It certainly is.

:rotfl2: The progression of photos in which one additional person looks at the camera in each photo is HILARIOUS! :rotfl2:

All of that aside though, you did get some really, really nice PP pictures (and that's not always easy to do). :thumbsup2

Crazy I tell you. :rotfl2:

It's too funny. You couldn't do that on purpose if you tried.

I like all the PP pictures and yes the slanted one makes me dizzy too.

Thanks. The slant wouldn't be a big deal if you could fix it in Disney's PP editing software, but no can do.

I like when the PP are interactive and really try to give you something other than the standard - stand there and smile photo.

I agree. This guy didn't have any business before we showed up so I guess he decided to make a whole photo shoot of it.

Not so much for the humor factor but the character positioning I like the Princess and the frog border too. :thumbsup2

I couldn't believe how perfectly that worked out! As much as I didn't want to create that one, I couldn't pass it up!

Dang it too!!! I even missed the bouquet !!!:rotfl2:But I did bet Marv !!!;):rotfl2:

I think you were typing "beat Marv", but pulled a Dan. Anyway, yay for small victories....and big ones, like beating Marv!

Glenn thse are some great PP pix !!I loved he Frog and the Princess border !!!:goodvibes

Thanks Rosie!

Get to the update just in the nick of time annnndddd... too late for Judy sightings. I just can't win!

Well you know the DISers Timmy, they're always lurking about, and are hard to beat.

Anyways, all the photos came out great! I agree with Judy, the Princess and the Frog border looks the best. Best Disney Movie Ever! :goodvibes

Truth be told, we've never printed or done anything with those pictures so when Judy was looking over my shoulder at the in-process update, it was the first time she'd seen them! She was like "oh, I like that one", "oh, I like that one too", "oh, HA! That's great!"

And the progression of the Tinker Bell photos is quite brilliant. ;) To get four people to do the same thing in a photo is quite the task. ::yes::

It certainly wasn't planned! I just noticed it as I was workin on the update.

Awww. Loving the lovey-dovey pictures. :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc

Thanks Camille! :goodvibes

Look at you, giving your kids such freedom and independence. That Amurrican Experience must have had an effect on you.

We told them that if it works out, maybe we can start leaving them at home when we go to the grocery store. ;)

I don't see anything.

Use your open eye, Frank.

Then Naked Gun. :rotfl2: Love it.

Well, that's a relief.

You're tellin' me!

This is EPCOT after a couple of those Grand Marnier slushies.

The World Showcase crawl.

Well, that's a relief.

:rotfl2:

Yeah, that Tink is nice and all, but check out that pigeon over there!:rotfl2:

Squirrel! :squirrel:

Amazing! Is there a prize for most 2nd-place finishes?

Looks like I'm going to have to come up with something!

When you said Lovey dovey mushy pictures, you weren't kidding! Still, nothing like a good photo update :)

I think that some of the Photopass pictures that we took in front of the castle in an earlier chapter were actually a little mushier, but hey, I didn't use that title that time so I used it for this one. :)

Thank you for reminding me of my (ages ago) 1 Judy-sighting point!

That means that ages ago is when I started this report! Which is true.

Now that I'm back on the DIS I've got to get back on my game!

Good to have you back! And with a TR no less. :thumbsup2

Such sweet PP pictures!:goodvibes I hope some of them ended up in frames because they are definitely frame worthy.

Thanks Vanessa! I think you're right, they're nice enough for frames...but you know what, in this digital age they've just stayed digital. :sad2:

I enjoyed the different frames too and agree the Princess Frog is the "bees knees".

Aw, thanks!

You know, not that it's a big surprise at all, but to make an update of nothing but PP photos, in the same location no less, and make it that entertaining... well done my friend. :thumbsup2

Thanks Rob. It's funny you say that because when I started this chapter I thought, "what the heck did I do to myself", and figured I'd painted myself into a corner by organizing this as its own chapter. But I thought that it turned out okay. As a fellow TR writer, I appreciate you saying that.

Great pictures. They really are lovely dovey and all that. Everyone looks so happy. What great memories!

Thank you Mary Ellen. This was a nice little photo shoot. Much better than the drowned rat pictures we have from our first day at DHS. (Not that you'd remember, since I posted them months and months ago!)

Great pictures! Everyone looks so happy. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Chris! It was a good day, that we'll remember for a long time.

First time reader and I'm all caught up! I have been absolutely loving your TR!!

Hi sunfun94! :welcome: I'm glad that you're enjoying it and thanks for posting! You live in Music City, huh? It's been many, many years, but I used to get there on business...we used to like to go to the Stockyard Restaurant for steaks and listen to Curtis Green in the lounge before being seated. Good times!

The PP pics turned out great!

Thank you!

I'm so going to have to remember the Rainforest Cafe entrance for AK!! :cool1:

:thumbsup2

Awwwww

that about sums it up!

:goodvibes

Some really great shots in there

I think that does sum it up Cynthia! Thanks. :)

It looks like it was close, but I'm glad Mark had enough fingers and toes to count all the Judy's.

There's probably a joke in there somewhere about him having an extra toe or webbed feet or something, so just imagine that I wrote that. :lmao:

Momentary memory loss is always better than a dead battery.

That sounds like something from "Poor Richard's Almanac"!

But yes, I was very glad that my camera was still holding a charge. My brain holding one is another matter. :scared: :rotfl2:

Is that what it is? Judy??? :rolleyes1

She says, "oh yes, that's what it is all right. Pure bliss". There you have it Andy, you can't get any more proof than that.

I've got to think it has something to do with that whole deer in the headlights thing you had going on.

Yeah, well, okay...maybe.

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: That's great!

:rotfl2: :) :goodvibes

::yes:: It certainly is.

Thanks!

:rotfl2: The progression of photos in which one additional person looks at the camera in each photo is HILARIOUS! :rotfl2:

I can't make that up, it just worked out that way! Too funny.

All of that aside though, you did get some really, really nice PP pictures (and that's not always easy to do). :thumbsup2

Thanks Roni! I agree with you, they can be hit or miss, and I liked this group of pictures.

You know, not that it's a big surprise at all, but to make an update of nothing but PP photos, in the same location no less, and make it that entertaining... well done my friend. :thumbsup2

This. I am with Rob! What a great set of photos with fantastic commentary!

Great photopass pics! But I like this one even better:
