What are your favorite menu items at Citricos? We'll be going in about 2 weeks and would like to make sure we get the best that they have to offer!

The braised veal shank and beef short ribs are very good. The filet is consistantly great as well.

Other goodies...gateau of crab and warm chocolate banana tart

Enjoy

The short ribs are my favorite dish that is still on the current menu.

shrimp appetizer! veal shank, filet!! mmmm i can't wait to eat there in a few weeks!

EVERYTHING!

LOL

In fact, I just switched my birthday dinner back from Cali Grill to Citricos...Can't stay away from it! popcorn::

The veal shank is wonderful! As is their chocolate torte for desert. Honestly I don't think you can go wrong here, everything comes out perfectly done, and the waitstaff are wonderful and ready to accommodate any need.

Veal shank and short ribs.
But I must say I found the portion size of the ribs to be somewhat lacking--

All are delicious. I've also ordered fish from the specials menus and always had a great meal.

We went to Citricos twice when we were there a few weeks ago and I ordered the same thing both times because they were so delicious! The short ribs and the gateau of crab are to die for!

I love the shrimp appetizer and the braised veal shank. I can't wait - we'll be back there in a month.

Hope ok to come in here with question?

I have ressie at 19.30 at Citricos in Sept. What time would I need to leave to see Electric eater parade? Would it be around 9pm when fire works start?

The shrimp appetizer is my absolute favorite. I also enjoy the short ribs. I found out the last time I was there that if I requested it, they would serve the shrimp appetizer over pasta as an entree. Yum.

I agree the gateau of crab and short ribs are the best things on the menu. They used to have a berry gratin that was delicious too:lovestruc, but unfortunately it's not on the menu anymore.:sad1: That used to be my favorite meal at WDW.

The only thing I've ever gotten there that I really didn't like was the green apple sorbet the waitress talked me into this past Dec. They grated the peeling with the apple and it was grainy, gritty, icy, and sour, just plain nasty. Everything else I've ever ordered though has been great.

omg I loooooved this when we ate here in February! I tend to lean toward sweet and tart desserts though.

Anywho, we always eat here during our annual Grand Gathering and between the 12 of us, we almost always have one of every entree. I love the filet and get it every time but my stolen tastes of the short ribs and the pork. The tropical creme brulee is also quite yummy. Truth be told, I don't think you can go wrong at Citricos. :thumbsup2

What are your favorite fish/chicken dishes? I have moral/ethical issues with eating veal, I've never eaten it, and I never will. And I generally don't eat ribs, because I hate the way I can look at it and know exactly where it came from on the animal. LOL I'm not a vegetarian, but I tend to stay away from beef, so any non beef entrees that are yummy? Also I don't like chocolate, so what are the best non-chocolate desserts? Thank you for all your help so far. I'm just a very odd eater!

My mom ordered a fish dish when we were there. I know it wasn't the grouper that's listed on the AllEars menu (even though it does sound yummy...) and I'm pretty sure it wasn't the swordfish either. A few people in our family ordered the roasted chicken and really enjoyed it.

I'm not a chocolate for dessert person either and I love the tropical fruit creme brulee.
