Today was my 180 day window to buy my Cirque tickets & I did it! I bought all eight of them. After I got off the phone, my stomach turned as I remebered "No refunds. No tranfers". I mean, what if something bad happens & I never get down there? Or my kid gets the flu? Am I really out all that money? I can't sell them to someone else, or anything? I'm just out of luck?! Please tell me that I didn't make a mistake!! Please?!

Everthing will be OK and you and your family will luv Cirque!!!!

They don't ID you at the door. The "no transfers" lingo is aimed at those wishing to scalp their tickets. Sell them at face value or less, and I doubt that Cirque or anyone else would care.

Last March, I called them less than a week before the performance to tell them I wouldn't be able to attend due to a family medical emergency and they refunded the price of the two tickets.

You definitely did the right thing! Cirque is the best thing at disney and you wouldn't want to miss it. Don't stress just relax and look forward to an amazing show!:)

Thank you so much!!! That's a big weight off my shoulders!! My friends & family are really looking forward to the Cirque. That's why I made sure to buy on the first available day, so that we would not miss out. But then that disclaimer made my stomach turn over after I got off the phone. (while I was on the phone, I was too excited to let it bother me) :p I am glad to hear that they do refund in case of emergencies. (Dick - I am sorry for your family medical emergency. I hope you eventually get to go.) And I am glad to hear that I can resell if I need to. "Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst" ;) Thanks again!!!!!! :p

You did the right thing and will love this show! I am waiting for the 180 day mark to buy 3 tickets for our next trip. You get the best seats by purchasing them early.

I want to get tickets for my in-laws during our December trip. This will be part of our Christmas gift to them. We are already pas the 180 day mark, but I am hesitating to buy them because of making plans around the show for them. Although, Cirque is only playing for 3 nights during our stay and really only one of those nights will be available for them to go see it--so I might as well call and order I guess!! LOL!! Talked myself into that one didn't I?? Does Cirque sell out??

You won't regret it! Cirque is the most amazing, beautiful, cool, delightful, electrifying, fantastic, grandiose, hilarious, inspirational, jazzy, killer, lavish, mesmerizing, notable, opulent, powerful, quality, resplendant, spectacular, triumphant, unbelievable, voluptuous, wonderous, x-hilerating, yowza, zowie performance I have ever seen! And that's just my first time thru the alphabet:p Can you tell I LOVE this show? I've seen it twice, and plan to go back again in January. Enjoy!

That's alot of adjectives!! Now I'm getting even more excited!

OK. Since I started this thread, I feel I can veer off a little......How do you get that cool countdown thing in your signature. I want one! :bounce:

Uh, I'm sort of computer-dumb. I followed the directions someone else posted awhile back, and I don't remember how I did it. Sorry. I'm sure someone else can tell you. It certainly can't be that difficult, or I would never have one! ;)

Motaei, Thank you for your concern. My wife and I rescheduled our trip and we ended up going to the 9 p.m. performance on June 7. It was wonderful and it was far from being sold out. Anyone could have walked up to the enterance at 8:55 p.m. and could have got a good seat.

Last trip we went to see La Nouba and also ordered tickets 90 days in advance for us and my DW's sister and son (10yrs old).

The day of the performance the sister in-law and son wanted to spend the evening swimming and thought a Circus would be boring and refused to go !

I explained that Cirque Du Soliel was not your ordinary circus and it would blow their minds...I explained "0","Mystere" and Saltimbanco to them as a once in a lifetime experience not to be missed and they still stiffed me on the tickets.

The box officed wouldn't refund the tickets but they did issue me gift certificates that were good for 1 year.

I ended up selling them on Ebay after we got back....

Have fun!!!
