Cirque question

If I buy my Cirque tix six months out, do they have a cancellation option in the event my trip is cancelled? I always buy trip insurance for my air & I can cancel my hotel but what about Cirque? I hate to spend that much money & not have the ability to cancel if needed. Anyone know? I could'nt find anything on their site.

i purchased tickets 4 weeks ago for the show 3 weeks ago...
nothing was said about cancellation insurance...

Unfortunately, they are non-refundable.

Someone mentioned on another thread the option of buying an exchange voucher for cirque that had no specific date on it. You may want to look into that (still not refundable, but possibly more flexible).

It seems they will USUALLY let you exchange them for another date if something happens & you have to cancel/change your trip. DH & I had tickets for a show one August & were unexpectedly called home early due to an illness in the family. The woman I spoke to was wonderful & we had no problems rescheduling for a date in December. (She did make us pick a new date right then & there, though - don't know if that's changed!)
