What is the Circ De La Mer? Is this in Seaworld?

It was at Sea World, but it recently closed and the Odyssea show opened in its place.

Circ De La Mar was so much better than Odyssea. I was really let down when we went to Odyssea a couple weeks ago. I was bored with the comedian who starts the show and it never got better. It was really pretty boring- sort of a bunch of acrobats and girls hanging from rings etc. If you've been to BG it is sort of like one of the shows there but not as entertaining. We were surrounded by groups from Australia and England. They seemed to enjoy it and were oohing and awing, but I think I was still waiting for somewone to fly gracefully over the stage or audience on a beautiful long white cloth or something like that. My husband made me promise I would never drag him to that one again----no matter if it were 100 degrees outside and just to get out of the sun for awhile. LOL

Cirque de le Mer was my favorite show at Seaworld; when we went back this past summer, I was not impressed with the Odyssea show. We were very disappointed.

We are a family of gymnasts, so perhaps we are more appreciative of the technical aspects. We very much enjoyed the show. Especially the extra cool air-conditioning. It was a short show and not full of "spectacularl" visual effects...

Although we have been to Seaworld dozens of times, this was our first time at that theater. It was a favorite of our 3 daughters.

I never saw Cirque de la Mer, so I can't compare (hey, I rhymed!)
We did see Odyssea and both of my daughters (5 and 7) as well as I enjoyed it. We thought it was beautiful. We do enjoy acrobatic, gymnastic exhibitions, and also marveled at the flexibility of the performers. It was not one of our top three attractions at Seaworld, but definitely worth the chance to sit and rest in the air conditioning and be entertained at the same time!

Odyssea is a much more professionally done show, that however doesn't mean it's more entertaining. The comedian in Cirque de la mer WAS the show, he was a part of all the different acts and was hysterical, especially when he gets people from the audience for the boxing match. The comedian in Odyssea is boring and dull and doesn't bring anything to the show. Cirque de la mer I could watch it on every one of my visits cause the comedian and the different people he chooses to come onstage make the show different and funny.Odyssea you do one time and there's no reason to see it again.
