Hi we will be at Universal Studios in December & wondering if this show still runs at that time of year? Also when the opening times will be published for US & IOA?
Thanks for any help
Allie

Hi Allie

Universal's night-time shows tend to be only during the summer or for special events.,

According to the Universal Orlando website, the Cinematic Spectacular runs from mid June to early July.

Actually, the Cinematic Spectacular 100 Years of Universal Pictures is shown almost everyday throughout the year. (excepting private parties, breakdowns, maintenance, etc.) Last year, 2012, it was shown at park closing time during the Christmas events in December.

Before the new 100 years of pictures show, Universal did have seasonal shows and were shown only in summer and Christmas week.

Thanks for that confirmation, I stand corrected. Wonder why Universal's website only has it down as being shown up to 6th July then :confused3

Universal has always been inconsistent on publishing exact dates that parades and shows are or are not occurring. I take the info on their web site for CS to be about the time of day that it will occur, not a statement on what days it will be shown. With the new Transformers ride opening and soon the new Simpson's Springfield attractions opening, Universal probably has not decided on when closing time at the USF park will be later this year. If crowds are huge, closing time may well be extended to 11pm some days. The CS show will still be near closing time, whenever that will be.
