On a trip to Disney last August my daughter wanted to know when she was going to get to go in the castle to see the princesses(this was her first trip). I told her Id call and see when we could go. I called that night and got a resevation for four at 8:00 for 2 days later. It might be differnt now with the FTP(more crowded)but I dont think it can hurt to try. I had no idea of how popular this breakfast was at the time. Looking back Im glad I didnt know beacaue I would have assumed I couldnt get in and never called. Good luck to everyone.

You're right Aurora, it is definitely worth a try. One year we were able to get into CRT for breakfast by walking up to the hostess stand first thing in the morning and asked if any tables were available. At first the CM said no, but as we started to walk away she yelled for us to stop, they had a no show! So off into the castle we went!

Yes, Don't give up hope!
We just visited WDW in late June/early July and I was lucky enough to obtain 2 (that's right two) Cindy's reservations before we left home! One was for Monday 6/30 at 9:30am and the other for Tuesday 7/1 at 8am..Not being sure which day we would be at MK, I kept both till we arrived in WDW. So once plans were intact on Saturday night (within my 24 hour cancelation notice) I called Disney Dining directly from my room phone at the Poly and cancelled the Monday morning one, keeping the Tuesday one. I also asked if they could put the deposit from the Monday resse' on the Tuesdays breakfast resse`, but they said it would get too confusing..so they credited my CC right away...giving me back my deposit of $40.00 for monday's reservation. I didn't want to be a reservation hog, and we've never done double reservations before, but we couldn't make up our minds where we'd be until we got there on Saturday.
The CM on the phone said don't worry, I'm sure this reservation will go to good use and I'm sure it did!
So don't give up hope, magic does happen there!

Its good to know that there are still reservations available and that people can obtain them for CRT.

Don't ever give up! Never even tried to get a PS as I know how difficult it can be but DD and I have been twice!

First time DD and I stayed at POFQ, were going to MK and went for the bus - smelled smoke! Bush fires in the Orlando area! Got the last bus before they stopped WDW transportation. MK virtually empty!

Walked up Main Street and through the Castle and the CM at the podium for CRT was actually touting for business! We had already eaten breakfast at POFQ but this was an offer too good to resist - we went right up and got a window seat!

Second time woz thx to a fellow DIS'er - offered us the places not wanted by her DH and DS (still thanking you LaurenK!)

So pixie dust can happen anytime anywhere!
