Cindy's breakfast?

It's been a while since I attempted a PS for Cindy's Breakfast. Now I see they ask for a credit card deposit, how does this work? There are 10 of us 8 adults 2 children (2 & 5) At 90 days prior when we call for PS, what kind of deposit will they ask for? How much??

I think the deposit is $10 per adult, $5 per child, but I could be wrong.

Really? I guess they subtract that from your bill? Or do they refund your credit card????

I made a reservation for May 24th after trying for 3 days. I was so excited I burst into tears and could barely speak to the CM!! She asked me what time and I just blurted out 11AM. Had to check twice afterwards to make sure I hadn't accidently booked lunch after all that drama! Anyway I know she charged me $10/adult and $5/child but I was in such shock at actually getting through that I didn't even think to ask her how it worked. I grabbed my husband's credit card to make the reservation only to find out the name on the card has to show up that morning. I am now guarding HIM with my life!!

I just called Tuesday and the cm told me $10 for each adult and $5 for each child. She also said I will see a charge for the $30 (DH, DM, DS & DD) for the meal on my credit card soon. To cancel you have to call 24 hrs prior to the meal or you will not be refunded the $$. When paying for the meal the $30 would be deducted from the total of your meal!!!

So excited to eat in the castle, I have been to Disney a handful of times and never had the chance to do this!!!

Just to add to this post...they won't deduct it initially as they want the tip to reflect the full total and the once you put the tip on, they come back with the new total minus your deposit plus the tip. Just didn't want you to be surprised when you first got the bill.

Its not a big deal for a small family, but there's 10 of us....

Me, my friend, my mom & brother. My sister her husband & 2 children and my sisters mother and father in law.

Also, my nephew is only 2, do we have to pay for him???

I'm not 100% positive, but I don't think they charge for 2 and under. We did CRT for the first time this past November and loved it! The view from the windows (which you can see from every table) is awesome and the food was pretty darned good. DH's fave was the cinnamon rolls, but the big hit with the rest of us was the French toast filled with warm blueberry filling! It's all served to you on your own plate, except for the rolls, and you can ask for as much more as you want of whatever you want (I couldn't eat another bite, though, and I've got a hardy appetite!).

I loved the way the waiter called me "m'lady" - I felt like a princess myself! It's so popular that we waited for about 15 minutes for our table, but it was no big deal and was definitely worth it. I think I had more fun than DD did...

When I made my reservation, they asked me if I was on a dining plan. Said yes, since I have MYW plus dining. CM then said that in the event we don't show and don't cancel, we'll be charged $10 per adult, $5 per child. Sounded to me like they didn't charge if on a dining plan, except in the event of a no-show. Anyone know if this is true?
