Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

I got the lunch!!! I started dialing about 4 minutes early and to my dismay, my re-dial button wouldn't work on the number. That meant manually punching the long number over and over, messing it up a few times.

I got through at about 5 minutes past 7, heard the message which was shorter than the one I copied from here, and I hit # 1 only once. During my hold time Disney songs were playing. After 10 minutes of waiting, a message interrupted saying Cindy's is probably completely booked by now.

The key word was "probably" so I hung on. About 5 more minutes later the nice woman answered. She paused so I didn't have to be rude and interrupt her. I quickly said Cindy's lunch, Nov. 11, 8 people, anytime.

We will be eating at 1:35pm with two tables. :Pinkbounc

Just invited my son's friend/ our friend's son to join us for our trip to WDW BCV last week of August. I booked our PST way in advance. I'll have to try and get another seat for Chef Mickeys, 1900 Park Fare (forget CRT), :confused3 and a few others. At least, we were able to get him on our same flight!

Pixie Fairy.....I need a dusting!! :wizard: princess: :Pinkbounc

When you call do you have to put your ressie number in the phone or do you still hit 1 +1 and tell them the ressie number for you resort. I called today to ask what day to call and she said she couldnt take my ressie number. I didn't know if that was just because I was asking what day or if I have to type it in the phone to work.

TIA

She didn't take any ressie number. She just asked where on site I will be staying. Since I already gave her my first and last name, I assume she could look it up on the computer.

My family is excited I got through. It's the icing on the cake after a four night Disney Wonder cruise and a full day in the Magic Kingdom. The time for the lunch works out good too. We will probably sleep in a little late and have a fast breakfast at the hotel food court. The children will have time to see some of the park before lunch.

It seems I heard somewhere a hint that all you have to hit is 1 1 1 1 1 over and it will be ok ) as opposed to trying to remember all your numbers - it will be ok once you get to a "live" person...

anyone??? I know one time when I called it asked this, and I hung up, I was flabergasted!!

never asked my ressies numbers doing it as detailed here untill I had the seating that I wanted, and one time did not even ask, I should say two times of the three I called never asked. at 90 days out I dont think you need it, but not sure, just not a questions the cm's seem to be asking unless using the 9+ OPTION. good luck

So, just to make it clear for me. I can call on Sept. 25 (our 90 days) and get Cindi's for Dec. 29 (94 days out)?
Thanks!

cinderlexa's mom-

Have you tried calling and asking for a table of 3 or 4 instead of 2? You can then call back a week latter and change it to a tabel of 2. :Pinkbounc

D3sdoll-
You should be able to call 100 days (90 + 10) prior to the day you want the reservation. :wizard:

eeyore45-
I was told that when you call just hit 1 's (I think it states calling from Orlando area?), the CM's do not know what you have just entered.

The prompt of reservation # and times visited is Disney's way of monitoring incoming calls and collecting data on visitors. :goodvibes

I tried calling to reserve the CRT 95 days before the day I needed it and was told I had to wait until exactly 90 days. She even calculated it for me, even though I already knew the 90 day date was this past Saturday.

I only had the one day that we could go. It might be different if you are staying for a week or more and have mulitple days to choose from. If you are reserving several different meal places, maybe they will make an exception.

Just thrilled my one and only chance worked out for me and my family. :Pinkbounc

We would like to eat at Cindy's breakfast or dinner during our stay. :rotfl2: If anyone plans on cancelling a ressie during that time could you let me know so I can call and try to get it. :wizard: I keep trying but no luck on cancellations yet!

Thanks in advance! :earsgirl:

:goodvibes If anyone is cancelling a Cindy's reservation for breakfast or lunch please let me know in advance...hoping for some pixie dust! Haven't had any luck yet with calling for cancellations... :confused3

Thank you Parrotheadlois. I followed your instructions this morning and got all the reservations I wanted. I got through at about 7:01 and was connected with CM in less than 1 minute. Your instructions worked great!
I got reservations for CRT for lunch which I wanted (kind of a strange time though 2:30). Hopefully that time will be ok for the characters. I am happy anyway.
Thanks again
Nancy

I can only tell you from my experience, I have been twice. Both times it was Cindy, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Belle and Mary Poppins. Now it might change, but I was there in Nov. 04 and Feb. 05 and this was the line up. Hope this helps

I made our CRT adr today for lunch. The only seating available was 2:30. Has anyone dined that late for lunch? Was it ok or should I try for a different day / time tomorrow? I don't really mind the time. I figure we can have a good breakfast and than tour the park for a few hours before we go for our lunch. Want to make sure we will still see characters though and that we will not be rushed through our lunch.
Thanks
Nancy

firsttrip - Since you say you don't mind the time --- Keep it! You'll be eating lunch during the crowded times and be out in the park when everyone else is crowding the places for lunch. This is often a recommended strategy!
