I have tried for Sept 30- Oct 5, and just 2 of us! I still have Tom. and Sat.. Our trip is Sept 30-Oct 8. No big if we don't get it but it would be nice

I have a quick question.
I have signed up for the Disney Premium Dining Package. I made reservations to CRT for breakfast and today I found a $20 charge on my credit card. I was under the impression that one is only charged if you don't show up for the breakfast. Can someone please clarify this for me. BTW: I did tell the person over the phone that I had a dining plan in addition to putting in the Dining Plan number as I called.

No, this is one of the very few meals where you actually have to pay a deposit ahead of time.

Yes I am confused now because I thought the cm said it WOULD NOT be charged to my cc due to the free dining pkg and if I did not cancel with in 24 hrs or no show then it would be charged. This is confusing me too!!

Did just as the tips said and was on hold for 3 minutes and was able to get PS at 9:45am which is around when we wanted it. We will head in at rope drop and do Pooh and Dumbo first to work up an appetite!!!

On a side not, my sister (who is going w/ us w/ her family) called the same time as me, got in pressed 1 and 1 right away and was on hold for 17min and of course it was sold out. Goes to show, it is just blind luck sometimes.

For anyone trying - have all your friends and family trying at the same time for you, even if they aren't going

I don't want to be a 'downer', but am I the only one that hasn't been able to get ressies for CRT? My stay is 10/3 [evening] thru 10/8, and I've gotten on the phone at 6:55 am yesterday and this morning, and actually wound up holding for about a half an hour each time, but I got nuttin'. [Well, I got my other, non-Castle PR's... ] I'm still hoping for something tomorrow or Sunday morning, but unfortunately, I'm now pessimistic... If I still don't get the coveted Castle reservation, I'll keep trying, of course; hope for a cancellation, or other miracle...

If I have to do that, is there a best time of day to call? Right at the end of the night, first thing in the morning...?

Nope it's not just you...I've tried 2 days now & not gotten CRT. I've got 3 more shots. I'm doing exactly what the tips say, got 2 phones going ..etc...just not getting thru in time

for a cancellation? If I'm not mistaken,the policy for the Castle is 24 hours out. I'd try up until the day before. That's how I snagged one in April--Spring Break of all times....I was on the monorail and thought I'd try for the PSB at Epcot for one of the last few days of our trip. It was booked solid, and the CM asked if I wanted her to try CRT. She did, and there was an opening.

I'd keep trying...you never know!!

FWIW, it took me 4 days before I got through this week, and I did everything they way it's suggested.

My advice is dont give up. I was so discouraged all week and then this morning i was able to finally get it. Start calling at 6:55 and dial and hang up if you dont get through and imediately try again. I got through one morning at 6:55 and then accidentally hung up i was so excited. Then I could never get through again until 6:59. Then I was on hold for 11 minutes and it was sold out.

This morning I started at 6:55 and got through at 6:56 and off the phone by 7:03. The 1, 1 trick did not work for me this morning and i had to put in my phone number twice. I really thought I would not get it, but she pickd up maybe after 2 minutes.

I got through on Tuesday for Oct 3. The message came on that CRT for breakfast was sold out but I held on anyway and when the CM came on I told her that I wanted CRT anytime and wow, I got 9:45. That was after being on hold for 15 minutes. So, hang on, you never know.

thanks I will do that...to the poster who is not getting ps at CRT...are you asking for bkfst only?? I got a lunch at 2:45 for my exact day and I did not stupid me, use the 1,1 trick!!! I am a total dumbcrap...I even have the durn UG and forgot on that day to do the tricks I was so nervous and excited!!! Hey another thing to consider...My 45 days are not even out yet so what I am saying to all of you is...there is a good chance some peoplr will not even make it to Disney but they are booking PS's 90 days out...this seems very strange to me that we can make tons of PS's and not even have a paid trip yet!! A lot of people probably back out right before hand in order to get the 200 deposit back...even if the 45 day mark comes and their ressie does not get paid for, who is to say that the dining cm's even get that info...you would assume but you never know. I would at least call the 45 days back from whatever day you want to go or even later like 30 or 20 days...if I am making any sense at all...good luck to all you CRT fans!!
