KBFinFan - Are you calling a few minutes before 7 a.m.? Whenever I try it, I start dialing at about 6:57 and as soon as I hear the "wrong" recording, I hang up and immediately hit redial. Sometimes I have to do it 6 or 7 or 10 times, but I've always gotten through and gotten one of the first reservations. The "1 and 1" technique does make it much faster ... maybe if you start a wee bit earlier tomorrow???

I tried like 3-4 minutes before.. and then started hitting redial, but thanks for the tip. Tomorrow I'll get it... now that I had my practice!

I GOT IT !!!

I used 2 cell phones and the "1" "1" trick and they both connected to WDW Dining at the same time - I was on hold for maybe 2 seconds. I felt bad because I had to hang up on one CM!!

It was remarkably easy - wonder if it's because it's a Sunday morning and people didn't want to get up?

We have an 8:05am on our first full day at WDW (non-EMH, a Saturday). This PS is a standby because we really want to go later in the week. But.....it might be nice to walk down an empty Main Street, then eat, then hit some rides before the Saturday crowds decend and head to another park (we'd planned on going to AK that day -first time!)

I got 8:50! (can't complain... walking down an empty main street sounds great)

My girlfriend is excited, as this is something she's always wanted to do, but never had the chance to. As two young adults, will we feel out of place? Not really worried, since Disney always makes you feel comfortable.


I got my PS around 5 after (using 1 & 1), so maybe things are slower today since its a Sunday?

First of all, Congratulations! Second, you won't feel out of place at all, the characters and waitstaff are very good at making you enjoy yourself and not making you uncomfortable! Enjoy the breakfast.

I agree that you won't feel out of place at all! We've eaten at CRT for breakfast before and we've seen young couples eating there.

It's magic eating in the castle with the princesses. Everyone should do it!

I now have CRT for Thursday AND Princess Storybook Breakfast for Friday! I think I have been so luck because there are only 2 of us. I didn't get connected until well after 7:30 and I still got PS for PSB. I am trying tomorrow to get in for the Tea Party. Good luck everyone!

I got a PS for Cindy's on 10/23 at 8:30 for 3. Today was my last chance, and I am excited that I finally got one.

Thursday try: New at it, sorta tried the 1 - 1 and the full deal.. had two phones going. I was put on hold with both phones -- redialed just in case I could get through.. didn't work; still holding..when my call was answered at 7:20 it was booked.

Friday try: Started calling two minutes before 7:00; redialed every twenty seconds or so.. bad idea... should have just kept punching that redial.. did the 1-1.. placed on hold.. answered at 7:10 and all was full

Saturday try: Kept punching redial.. however, did not listen long enough to hear that message had changed to being open; realized my mistake..redialed..did 1-1..placed on hold.. answered at 7:12 and again all was full.

Victorious Sunday: redial, redial (paid attention to message).. punch 1-1.. wha-lah it was the CRO and I got the ressie.


Just curious, does anyone know how many spots are available each morning for a ressie?

Reservations are important but you can be surprised. We ate at Cinderella's twice during the summer at normal hours just by dropping in (wait was about 15 minutes).

I got CRT this morning also! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DD is going to be thrilled! I used the atomic clock to set the microwave clock, started dialing at 6:57, used the 1-1 trick and wasn't on hold at all! Hooray!

We just decided to try for CRT yesterday, as the 90 day mark for us is all this week. Wish I had read this thread first. I'm in CA so that means a 4:00 am wake up, yuk. I will try the new method tomorrow! Thanks for the info!

Yes, thank you, I did the 1-1 thing this morning RIGHT AT 7:00. I waited about 5 minutes on hold. I actually used http://tycho.usno.navy.mil/cgi-bin/timer.pl to confirm the time and Disney appeared to be slow to that clock by perhaps a second.

I am thrilled - DD's birthday is October 25th and she did not want to go any other day.

I'll be up & calling next week for a time - there are 5 of us - 1 will be 2.5 yo & can either sit in a high chair or seat. Do I request seating for 5 or ask for 4 then request a high chair? Trying to get it all straight so I won't waste valuable time when calling!

My thinking was 4 would be an easier ressie but don't want to cheat or crowd things if it's a space issue. Please help!
