It worked for me!!

I tried the previous three days by pressing all the relevant buttons and didnt get anywhere.

But by pressing 1 and 1 - I didnt even have to listen to the music -the CM answered straight away!!

Don't give up! Call back in a little while for cancellations. Also, call each day until your trip. We've been successful with this. Good luck!

I agree that you should call now! and in 10, 15 minutes. Those who get 2 PS will call back and cancel.

I tried last year and didn't get it at 7:00a but got a cancellation around 7:30a.

Hi Fran,

I had saw some posts about people using a cel phone and a home phone both to try and get reservations. I thought about doing that but I am not sure how you can do both well. Maybe it is possible but I think it may be easier to try and use just one phone and get everything done as fast as possible.

I don't think there is anything special about how you make the reservation.In june I tried three days in a row before connecting with a reservation. then It had to be cancelled,as we could not make the trip.Then we later decided to go in september along with a cruise on the wonder.It was under the ninety day window but I called just in case. And low and behold they had an opening for my party.you just never know.

I DID IT!
I hadn't read the part about pressing 1 and then 1 untill yesterday after the fact, well it worked!
the very kind CM intertupped me as I started to trip over my words, LOL I was used to hearing the press this and that and put in your phone number blah, blah waste of time. It shocked me when she answered right away LOL
I said Cinderella and she said "reservations for 10/20 at the Royal table for how many" I said 9, she said how about 9:10 and WE GOT IT!!!!!

I am doing the happy dance
I couldn't even sleep last night how crazy am I?

I already have all of my ressies, but is the 1 ... 1 combination a back door, or is it documented or announced somewhere?

You should have seen her face with I told her we were breakfast with the "real Cinderella"!!! She just turned 4. on July 4th

to answer the questions about the back door thing
I guess it might be, I didn't listen for anything I just remember hitting 1 than 1 again when I heard them say they were open, none of that is this your first time here or punching in your phone number. Really just punch 1 and 1 again just that easy!!!

WOOHOO!!!!! I got Cindy's on first try today. Thanks to the advice of everyone on this thread!!!! My time is 9:50 on 10/21.

How early does the park open on this day? And how early can I check in at the main gate before official park opening?

I am so excited to have gotten my PS! First try too! I have an 8:10 res for 10/21. I can't wait!!!
This is our first time at WDW and my DD4 is going to freak to see that this is how we will start our first day in the park. Thanks to everyone on the boards who have given such awesome advice. I would have had no idea if it wern't for all of you!

THANK YOU!!!!! Been reading up, and we got CRT 10/21 at 8:15 for 9! All of your tips were a must, I think. We used the 1 and 1 option and got it on our first try.

We're going to try tomorrow as well, and I'll let you know whether we end up cancelling today's.

Next goal: Illuminations Cruise!

I believe Thursday, 10/21, is an early entry day so the Magic Kingdom opens at 8:00 a.m. for all resort guests. You may want to try for another CRT PS tomorrow for an earlier time since the park opens up at 9:00 a.m. to Friday, 10/22, to everyone.

Congratulations on getting a PS in the first place though!

I am absolutely thrilled that everyone is being able to make their ressies with the "1 and 1" option that I mentioned last week!!

I dont even know how I found it out!!

I think absolute desperation!! I was nearly in tears on the mornings that I tried with the "long-winded" version of getting through.

Well Done to Everyone!!!

We are all going to have breakfast in the Castle in October thanks to 1 and 1!!!

If anyone is going to release 2 reservations for Cindy's breakfast between October 17 and 21, PLEASE PM me first! I'll be checking my PM's all day. I know of a single mom and her 4 yr. old who have never been to WDW and have scraped pennies together to go and haven't been able to get PS's. They are sooo sad. I'm going to try to help them by calling tomorrow and the next day, but in case that doesn't work.... just keep me in mind for them before you let any go.
