Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

Ditto.. I'm wondering this too. What new policies / processes exsist?

Just to add, since they've started taking adr's 180 +10 (+10 is the length of your stay, the first day of your ressie + the next 10 days) in advance, it 'feels' easier to get an adr, so if at first you dont succeed... try try again - they open up more tables each day!!

So at my 180 day I couldnt get a CRT for the first day I planned, but on the 6th day, and when reading the history of emh, it turned out that was an emh day - so for me, I wanted to get to the park eat breakfast, and then finish by time of "rope drop"

so I called back 2 days later (and afternoon!!) and got a better time ON the first day of our vacation!! :Pinkbounc

The menu for CRT is this (Menus Subject to Change):
Breakfast

Guest Ages 10 and up: Fresh fruit, fresh breakfast breads, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese Danish, French toast, potato casserole, orange juice, and coffee.
Guest Ages 3-9: Fresh fruit, fresh breakfast breads, scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast, and orange juice.
Healthy Alternative: Muesli with fresh fruit and yogurt.
Lunch

Family Style Table Salad featuring prosciutto, mozzarella and other seasonal meats and cheeses
Guest Ages 10 and up: Choice of one entree such as salmon, pork tenderloin, pasta pomadore and more plus a blueberry buckle (cobbler) for dessert
Guest Ages 3-9: Chicken strips, hot dog, hamburger, cheeseburger and a crown sundae for dessert

As for characters, they are pretty much the same for both. Last time I had Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, Snow White, and Wendy for lunch. These are the usual princesses, though they are subject to change.[/QUOTE
At lunch the kids get the crown sundae for dessert? I was told only with dinner.

We ate lunch on 5/5 and DD got the crown sundae for dessert.

I am also obsessing about ADRs, eating at CRT, the trip in general... :) My DH thinks I'm nuts. This is my DD3's "mastering the potty" trip and a breakfast with the princesses in the castle was a MUST DO!! I am also a photo crazy scrapbooker and am very excited to get photos at MK with just my two little ones on Main Street alone (I also have a DS6). The only thing that could make it better would be to "magically" create enough time for her to get a fairy tale makeover at the Bibbidi Boppidi Boutique before breakfast for her photo with Cinderella! princess:

We were there last week, I didn't think the BBB makeovers were very magical! It's hard to explain, but it didn't look princessy.

But, the $60 cinderella dress that's available all over WDW is VERY similar to the one Cinderella was wearing on 5/5/06. Tinkerbell brought one for our DD to wear. We ate lunch at CRT, so we just put the dress in a bag and carried it through the rides and changed before the lunch.

Well today was our day to call. I'm a little bummed. We were hoping for either breakfast or lunch on 11/12. No luck there. We were able to get our 3rd choice of lunch on 11/14 though. I was shocked. No hold time at all for me, I got right through! :) Started calling around 5:55 CST. Early!!! And I couldn't go back to bed so here I sit at work yawning. The things we do for our children, huh? ;)

Was it 180 days from when you want to it or from checkin? If it's 180 from checkin day then definitely try again at 180 days from when you want to eat there. They absolutely hold tables back for the true 180 days.

Really? They do?!?! I had no clue. Well, that would be tomorrow. So, I guess I'll set my alarm and try one more time. Thank you! :teeth:

Yes, they definitely do. Most around here have better luck at the actual 180 days so good luck tomorrow!! :goodvibes

I can't believe how easy it just was to get my CRT ADR. This 180 +10 thing is awesome. I just called and asked for the first breakfast time available for the week and got one for Wed. I thought I was going to have to go thru that crazy 7:00am multi-phone dialing fiasco. Thank god that's a thing of the past. At least for hotel guests.

Ok - we just booked our vacation this week and today I called for crt and got it 9:20 on the September 14th. :cool1:

Did I just get really lucky or is crt just not as big a thing as it was before?

I hope this will be helpful...I called yesterday to make ADR for another restuarant in Disney and I pressed 1 for english than 1 for not V&A and than 1 again when asked if in the Orlando area or need ressie for the next 7 days. I than was put right thru to a CM. I was able to avoid all the other questions and entering of numbers, much quicker to get thru. I will be calling tomorrow morning for CRT breakfast. It sounds like it is much easier to get ADR for CRT now though.

I got it a few days after the 180. At 180 +10 my travel agent could only get dinner for the day I wanted. We were going to just settle then deicided let's try to get lunch like we wanted . This was at 177 days out(a couple days ago) . My travel agent called and got lunch the day and time we wanted. I guess it was luck. Good luck to you! :cheer2:

Can you make reservations earlier than 180??

How does that work?

I need to get Cinderella Breakfast for any day between 12/3 - 12/8...

I thought I should call on 6/6 (180) --- is that not correct?

Last year I called and got in on first try (7am)

Yes, it's 180 days from your check in date and if you are an onsite guest then you can make all ADRs (up to 10 days worth, thus the +10) with one phone call.

You still may want to call again on the actual 180 days from when you want to eat at CRT as they hold back tables for the actual 180 days.

I did the 7 AM thing (6 AM here . . . and since I work until 12:30 AM I just stayed up all night! :lmao: ) and boom, got 8:10 AM CRBs on my first choice of a day (Nov 5th). the +10 thing was wonderful, I got to make all my ADRs for the entire trip in one shot and one phone call!

My DD has no idea you can even do this so it'll be a huge surprise for her. :)

Thanks for the info....

Its a good think I come back to WDWINFO DIS ---

My family/friends all think that I'm nuts.... but who do they come to when they want questions answered about WDW?

I'm getting confused as I read through this. I'll be trying for CRT starting next Monday. I know I can try for the whole trip with one phone call. Do I still need to do so at 7:00 sharp like before or just sometime that day? I've been doing this for years and it seems like it may have changed with their new way of doing things.....

thanks,
Epcot Mom

I would definitely call at 7:00a if you really want CRT.
