I am so bummed. I was on hold until 7:03 and did not get the princess breakfast for 5/13. That is my daughters 5th birthday ,I am disapointed.LOL I was able to book Crystal Palace.

Maybe someone will cancel!!

I called around noon to see if there were any cancellations for the 12th or the 13th and there weren't.

Oh well, tomorrow's another day!

When I was checking for a cancellation for May 7th, the cm told me that she sees the most cancellations before 7:45am.

I am so mad!! I called to see if we were split into two tables and they said the CM who booked didn't list the baby or the high chair I requested and they won't let a high chair at the end of a table. no tables for 6 available. So... now my DH will have to stay outside with the dd(age 1) so my other 2 dd's can see the princesses. I will also have to cancel my DH's ressie (they won't credit that toward our bill.) If anyone is cancelling a table of 6 for May3-8 please let me know. Thanks!!!!!! Advice- call to confirm ressies!!!!!

Your story doesn't surprise me, polkadotminnie. I booked our hotel thru CRO, gave them our CC# and got a confirmation #.... figured everything was good. A week later, I called to add a pack 'n play to our ressie and learned that the room was cancelled due to no payment. I blew a gasket. What good is a confirmation number?!

Got a ressie by PURE LUCK!

I called CRO to book my room using a different code. When I got done, she asked if there were any character meals I would like! I mentioned Chef Mickeys (which is never a problem), and the CM asked if I would also like CRT!!!!!

Obviously, you know what my answer was!

Why don't you just keep the ressie and show up? It's the CM's mistake. If you go there with your Conf# they won't turn you away.

Well, I tried today and no ressie. Got two more days to try.

Problem is I have to wait till they say, ".....our office is closed"

How can you tell from the very beginning of the messege that it's the closed messege or the "press 1" messege??

I got CRT!!!!!! Whaohoooo! I'm more excited than my 3 year old!
Thanks for the advice. I got them on the 2nd day of trying. I started dialing with 2 phones and the recording changed at 6:59 and a CM pick up almost instantly.

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!

I thought about just showing up there, but am afraid that we would lose the deposit on my husband if the don't let the baby come inside. I am going to keep trying for a table of 6. Any cancellations out there? I could also add a table of 4 if any were available for May 3rd - 9:15. Thanks!!!

Miss Park Avenue, listen carefully to the annoucements. There is a definite change in voice between the "our offices are closed" and "welcome to WDW dining". You need to be able to pick up on that. Also, there is a difference in the length of the pause before they start speaking between the closed and open messages. As soon as you realize it is the open message, you need to hit 1 ASAP. Hope this helps.

Oh well, my kids usually need to stop for quiet, restful lunch in the middle of the day and a big Cindy's breakfast would have thrown it all off.

They loved Chef Mickey's last time and we've already got ressies for that. We all loved the food too. So we'll just keep that.

Keep trying back for cancellations. They do happen, and it pays to keep checking back. It certainly can't hurt anything!!

I finally got a table for 6!!!! Somebody cancelled. I cancelled my table for 4 on May 3rd-9:15 if anybody is interested. My advice keep calling back something may open up!!!!!!

I also tried today for the heck of it to see if I could get ressies at CRT on 5/11, and they had room at 10:10. My brother and his family are going at 9:40 and wanted us to go at the same time. What do you think the chances are of us getting seated at the same time??? Probably pretty slim??

Yep. I think your brother has a better chance of calling and possibly seeing if he can add the number of people.

Most likely, it'll be hard to do.

This wednesday I will begin the saga of trying to get ressies for the week of May 18th. I need some help. Instead of going through this thread could someone just let me know if I should press 1 immediately or is there something else I need to do. Hit redial when i get a particular message? Need some last minute help, thanks so much!

Hit 1 as soon as you here it's open. If it says our office is closed... hit redial. Do a practice so you will know what it sounds like. Good luck!!!

I will begin calling on 3/20 for a 5/19 reservation. I know to listen for the voice changes and to hit either "1" or re-dial, but I've seen 2 different numbers... a 1-800 number and a 407-939-3463 number which I'm assuming is the right one. Can anyone tell me?
