Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

Does anyone know what type of meal you get for lunch after the changes have been made? We have already booked as DD will be 4 and adores Cinderella princess: but DH is a fussy eater so I wan't to warn him just in case.

I thought there was no choice for lunch and/or dinner once the change takes place just like breakfast?

we raised the price because people were making more than 1 reservation. Cinderellas royal table is the most requested on property and people that lie to us about the dining plan are taking magic away from other guests. You have to pay for the dining plan. Dont forget you get the photo package free. If youre on the dining plan it takes 2 tables services. Shoot me an email and let me know what dates you want. I can try to help you. =)
Gee, I didn't know the CMs could take reservation requests on the DISboards. Learn something new every day. ;)

FWI - One thing I just learned is that the $31.99 per adult and $21.99 per child does NOT include tax or gratuity!

When the charge appeared on my credit card I thought they had accidentally charged me for the baby, but when I called to check I found out that they had added about $22 for tip (I was expecting they would charge tax, but the tip surprised me). Anyway, thought I'd share with the rest of you so you won't be surprised like I was.

We're still going since DD is so excited, but I think this may be the last breakfast in the castle for a while.

The dining plan option is now available for DVC members to purchase as well for future visits after April 1st '06...I was also told that the CRT breakfast and photo package would cost 2 sit down meal credits, but didn't see this posted on the dining plan...I really wish this photo package were optional, like it is now instead of charging us for it upfront. While the princesses are very photogenic, my daughter isn't always in a mood for a picture! Plus, we really enjoyed the experience of eating in the castle with the Princesses, not always needing/wanting a photo package with Cinderella.

do you know where I can find out the DVC food plan???

To book an ADR for CRT on the dining plan for two adults, one 5 year old and one 2 year old, my question is this...
When you call, do you say 2 adults and 2 children or 2 adults and one child (considering the 2 year old is not "counted" on the dining plan)??
I hope my question makes sense! :teeth: Don't laugh, it makes sense to me. :rotfl:

Yes when you call they will ask the ages of the children, they only charge for children three years and up! you can also request a highchair. I just got off the phone and made a lunch ressie for our april trip. i really wanted the dinner but the cm told me cindy only takes pics in the lobby at the lunch! I just saw another posting on disney restaurants that other cm's told other people that cindy will take photos in the lobby for dinner. SO now i am confused and want to know the facts because if this is the case i will call and change my ressie!!!!!!! If you get more info when you call, please post back thanks

I am confused, too!
Can someone give "just the plain facts" ;) on meeting Cinderella (and having pictures taken with her) at breakfast, lunch and dinner?
And is there anywhere else in the parks where one can meet Cinderella?
Also, since it has to be paid for in advance, how does that work if you are on the dining plan? Please bear with me as I know these questions must have been asked a zillion times.

ok, :goodvibes i am on the dining plan, too. when i called and made my ressie the cm told me for dining plan families, they put a ten dollar hold for each person in your party. of course, if you are a no-show, they charge the full price of the meal on your cc. there is a 24 hour cancellation policy. when you do go to your meal, they take the hold off of your cc and use your dining card to pay for the meal. also, crt has changed and it is now 2 ts credits per person. if you call again post more details! i don't dare call with my screaming toddler in the background! :earseek:

I made a dinner ressie and my kids wanted to do the lunch too so i called and figured i'd splurge but guess what? Lunch is sold out for quite a few days during our week in april........glad i made that dinner ressie :teeth: Anyway i am posting because i felt like the ressies are so easy to get, lots of people don;t want to prepay but i was wrong...cm told me lots are calling on the 180 day mark!

I'm going to guess availability has a lot to do with when you go, also. If you are going during Spring Break then I wouldn't think ressies would be easy to get :confused3 .

Two years ago we did pics with Cindy at ToonTown. She was wonderful! Not rushed at all! It was before I had a digital camera, and I had to change the film in the middle of the shots (talk about embarrassing!). She was totally fine with it and just talked to my girls while I changed it. Granted, there wasn't a huge line of people waiting behind us, either!

I printed out the 2006 DP restaurant list, and it says "Once Upon a Time Breakfast at CRT with photo package (becomes Signature Dining Experience on Feb. 1, 2006)" with a 2 next to it (for 2 credits).

Has same info for CRT lunch and dinner. Hope this helps!

Am I allowed to wear a tiara to CRT for breakfast or is that too formal for the morning hour :rotfl: :rotfl: oh, by the way...i am a mommy :rotfl2:
