Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

:cool1: I was on the computer at another site when i saw that disney dining changed the rules to 180 days for a reservation, so i called and it had been in effect for only in effect for 2 days, anyway . To me you would of thought i hit lotto. We got the first seating at CRT.We have breafast there on Easter morning and my girls or husband has no idea. I am trying to hold it in,b/c i know they will go nuts when I tell them to get dressed for breakfast with cinderella!! :rotfl2:

I just booked a lunch at CRT and received the last seating of the day for lunch. I have heard this is a good time as there is no rush to get you out as there are no more ressies until dinner and the characters tend to "mill" around at the end...any opinions on the lunch?

I have to admit I did have STICKER SHOCK when I called and found out the price. I just want my 6yo daughter to get an "up-close" with her fav princesses while we are there for her B-day...does anyone recommend any other meals where she can meet princesses?I guess Belle is her favorite.

Also, the Disney website is a bit confusing...does the price include a basic photo package?

Thanks
--One confused Dad trying to figure out this princess stuff!
(we'll be there 03-01-06 to 03-09-06)

There is a princess breakfast in Epoct at Norway's restaurant. We have been , the food is so so but all the princesses visit the table and talk with your children. Also at Mickeys Toon Town, there is a line to meet a princess we got lucky and had cinderella and snow white there. At 1900 Park Fare in the Contemporary there is a dinner with cinderella, the mice, prince charming, and the fairy godmother were all there. It is buffet style, and thefood was pretty good.

The Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fare is very nice. We always start our 1st night of vacation there. However, 1900 Park Fare is in the Grand Floridian not the Contemporary.

Am I allowed to wear a tiara to CRT for breakfast or is that too formal for the morning hour :rotfl: :rotfl: oh, by the way...i am a mommy :rotfl2:
:rotfl2: both my daughter and I are wearing ours! But it is my 40th birthday and I feel like I just want to be special princess: princess: I'm sure my husband will think I'm a dork  Who cares, you only turn 40 once and I'm not only doing it at WDW, but I'm celebrating at CRT!!!!!

When I called last week, I was told that it was 180 days. I FREAKED at missing that 180 day mark, but thankfully they had 1 cancellation and I got it to celebrate my b-day. Also, they said the price does include the pictures now. If anyone hears otherwise, please inform! :)

I had to call disney dining today to ask a unrelated question &I spoke to the nicest cast member who told me that as of Feb 2 they are adding a character dinner in the castle, and it comes with the photo package and an exclusive lithograph of cinderella, only available at the castle. Just thought i pass along the info :flower:

Is there absolutely NO PRIME RIB at lunch time? Even after they make the changes in February 2006???? :upsidedow

Has anyone eaten at CRT this month? On some email lists people have reported that in this short amount of time before they go to 2 credits that they have reduced what you are getting for 1 credit. IE no seconds on things at breakfast and no app/dessert at lunch and dinner.

We are going for breakfast in 2 weeks and I just wanted to know what to expect....

Last time we were happy with the pre-plated breakfast but did order extra eggs.

Thanks!

Yvonne

We were there for lunch last Tuesday. We were not able to get seconds on our appetizer. we had plenty though, it looked like a tiny bit, but enough for a lunch. The entree and dessert were plenty to round out the meal.

I am trying to decide between Dinner and Lunch at the Royal Table. Help! :flower3:

plus we were able to get seconds of items...it was delicious and the service was fantastic. It was still just 1 TS though...

Hollyestertwo, If you want to see the princess's you will have to do luch. We choose dinner becasue, even though we've never been to the castle before, I wanted prime rib if I was going to pay the higher prices!! I did not like the lunch menu.

Can we get away with one adult meal and each of our children getting one? I'm sure I could share with my husband and kids if it is allowed? I hate to use so many credits on one meal now that it will be 2 TS per person!

I thought that after February both Lunch and Dinner will be character/photo interaction type things? I read that the Fairy Godmother hosts the dinner now. :wizard:

I don't like the lunch menu, just trying to make sure the kids see Cinderella or some character there. If Dinner is with Characters I would want that one!

1. is there princesses at breakfast at CRT???

2. what is on the breakfast menu. i ahve read french toast and stuffed french toast! does anyone know which one it is. i have a very picky child!! thanks! :wizard: :wizard:

If you're going for breakfast (it's an ALL YOU CARE TO EAT menu then), it wouldn't be allowed- but it couldn't hurt to ask at lunch (character) or dinner (non-character).

I'm sure someone else will speak up if I'm incorrect......

Good Luck!!

When I checked the menu's a month ago, prime rib was only at dinner. The only character's at dinner was the fairy godmother. Cinderella was still there for pictures but did not come to the table. There will also be no sharing of meals since it is considered a character meal now. This is what I was told or read, but things change fast at the castle!!! Allearts.net may have the new menu's posted or even here . I couldn't quite make out the one on here (under menu's) though. It was confusing with 2 different ones! If they had prime rib at noon, everyone would rather do that meal!! I will be upset if they told me it wasn't and then added it after I got my ADR'S!!

I realize that it is supply and demand that can raise the prices. I hope, like me, many of you will refuse to pay these prices and demand will drop.

Plan A: I am going to look into two share a meal since it looks like lunch is not all you can eat. I doubt disney will do this since they will not make as much. Most of what you pay for is not the food but interaction with cindy etc.

Plan B: I am taking my 5 year old to 1900 Park. I am letting her know that Cinderella lives here and works at the castle. (hey if I can tell her about the toothfairy I can tell her this). I think this will work as the GF is grand and castle like and in many ways magical. For my money the all you can eat at GF is a better deal, we still get cindy and the magic. It is a shame to miss the castle at this age. Next time we come she will be older and out of the magic a little. But I feel I should send a mesg. to disney.

The last time we were there the kids got french toast sticks (like the frozen kind) and the adults got a plate with eggs, bacon, sausage, potato dish, and stuffed french toast. There were various things on the table when we arrived like fruit, yogurt, granola, and muffins.
