Hi,

Was wondering if anyone had a picture of Cinderella's Slipper. We were thinking of ordering one for our daughter who will turns two while were at WDW. Also was wondering if anyone knew the phone number to call to order and how much it cost. We are going to dinner at 1900 park fare the night of her birthday.

Thanks

Don't have a picture but the number for the Grand Floridian Bakery is 407-824-2982. I believe that the cost is somewhere between $8-10. I plan on ordering one for my DD when we celebrate her graduation at V&A in May.

I believe you can pre-order it there too only it looks more like this and is $12. At least that was how it was in Nov/Dec2005.

Do you have to pre-order for Cinderella's castle lunch? What is IN the slipper? Thanks!

the second photo is much nicer. the first pic doesn't really look much like a slipper...it looks like just a lady finger with some messy whipped cream and strawberries on top.

Wow, the price has really gone up. I may have to re-think ordering for my DD. For $25, I can order a small cake which is probably a better deal.

It is no longer available to order in the Castle. As I understand it, it was being ordered a lot, and it is pretty labor intensive to assemble. So I believe it is now only available if you eat in one of the GF restaurants.

Tina...it looks like the slipper dessert you ordered was delivered to your table at the GF Afternoon Tea...is this correct? Or can anyone confirm that an ordered slipper dessert can be ordered for Afternoon Tea? :confused3

My Dniece really wants to have one of these again and her mom and I would much rather indulge her with one while having the afternoon tea than dining at CRT since her mom says they eat at CRT every trip. If we can't have it sent to the Afternoon Tea at GF, for which restaurants can it be ordered?

Thanks so much!

Yes, you can call ahead and request the slipper for your tea. Have fun!

To be honest the one pictured second that was once served at the CRT is much better than the one you order at the tea. The one they had a CRT had more of a chocolate taste and had a lot of fruit. The one at the tea just wasnt' as good to me

and it must be at least 24 hours prior. I made last minute ressies at 1900 Park Fare last Friday evening, and didn't think of the slipper until Friday morning, and it was too late.:sad1: I really wanted to see on in person. Kind of glad it worked out that way - DD9 was tired, and although she enjoyed herself, she wasn't too hungry, and didn't even have dessert!

At least now I know where there is a picture and I can show her - I had searched and searched that day!

And so will her mom and aunt. :goodvibes Don't get me wrong...CRT is a nice place, but we've done it so much we need a change :rotfl: and since we are planning on doing afternoon tea anyway...perfect!!! :woohoo:

Thanks again!

We had an amazing cake at the GF for my DDs birthday. It was $25 (well $20 with my DDE card) and it was one of the best chocolate cakes I have ever had. Our guests commented on it too! Although the slipper is a novelty - I think the cake we had had a WOW factor to it as well!

Just to add to all of us 1900 Park Fair go - ers

It can be ordered for any Grand Floridian Restaurant!! It must be ordered 48 hrs in advance, and with a Credit Card# (to guarentee - altho it isnt charged ) I also ordered a birthday cake - simply delicious!! I had thought about ordering th $25 castle (white chocolate) and the slipper dessert, but was talked into the $14 chocolate mousse cake, and slippers!! :thumbsup2 so indescribable - just know its chocolate-gasmic!! :lmao:

I saw under a different thread (the food picture one) that someone had it at Narcoosee's. Does anyone know if it is on the menu or is it only available through the GF Bakery???

I ordered it for a dinner at Narcoossee's. I had to call ahead and it came from the GF bakery. I don't think you can get the one with the dark chocolate at the GF but I could be wrong. I know you couldn't when I ordered it. The one we got was with white chocolate moouse inside with raspberries on top. A dark chocolate teardrop moouse was also on the plate just like the picture above. It was very tasty. $14.

If I call and order from bakery do I also got here to pick it up?

If you're eating at one of the GF restaurants they will have it at the restaurant for you for dessert.
