I will be visiting WDW in Dec. to celebrate my anniversary do u think it's to late to try and get reservations i heard u need them like six months in advance and also do they charge to hold your reservation?

We're celebrating our Anniversary (with the kids in tow) for dinner there in January, on our exact Anniversary. I am SO excited as is my daughter! We didn't have to phone 6 months in advance.... probably 3 and got a great dinner ADR.

Good luck!!!!!

If you're not on the dining plan, you will pay in full for the entire meal when you make your reservation. If you're on the dining plan, they'll take your credit card number to hold the reservation and will charge it only if you don't show up and you don't cancel.

If you are going this December, you should try and get reservations immediately if not sooner.

I would call asap and see if they have anything...but if you can't get one I know there are a lot of great other signature choices that you could also ask for. I'm not sure if you're on the DDP or not...but if it's just the 2 of you you could also try to get a reservation at Narcoossees, Jiko, Artist Point, Cali Grill, or Citricos (all 2 credits..just like CRT)...they all get great reviews and would be very romantic.

CRT has been changed to a character meal so it's a little more for little girls/boys than adults. I'm a little kid at heart so I like eating there but if it's 2 adults there are other options for a great anniversary dinner too.

I will be there in mid December. I have tried since 9/18 each day, twice a day at least to get CRT for breakfast, no luck. I then started to check for either breakfast or lunch....nothing. On 2 occasions they did have availability for dinner ( which I was not interested in). If you are looking for a dinner ressie, you make have better luck! I am going to keep trying for breakfast or lunch probably until my check out day lol

Good luck! If you don't get it right away, keep trying. People do cancel.
As the PP said, dinner is easier to get than Breakfast or Lunch because the princesses don't mingle at dinner. It's a show with the Fairy Godmother and mice, although you do still see Cinderella downstairs.
