Cinderella's Royal Table and Wishes

We have an 8:05 reservation for dinner on August 17. Wondering where you all think that will put us when Wishes starts? I'm inclined to take our sweet time and catch the fireworks from inside the Castle but part of me is worried about not having a view and missing it completely.

If we do finish before 10, would we just leave the Castle and cram in with the masses?

I think you can see some bursts out the windows at CRT. But it's certainly not a good Wishes viewing spot. I would plan to see Wishes another night or keep watching for a different time to eat there (plenty of people cancel in those last few days because it is prepaid).

Thanks for the responses! I think we'll view Wishes the night before and just relax and enjoy dinner and the magic of the Castle.

My wife and I had a table near the windows during the fireworks. We were sans children that night until Wishes began. Every child in the restaurant was practically in our laps until it ended. I'd much rather see them from the Contemporary.

It is not the ideal view of Wishes, but having seen Wishes from the traditional vantage points, I really appreciated the view from inside the castle. It was a different, unique experience. You certainly don't see anywhere close to the whole show, but for us, it was perfect. DD (8 at the time) asked to be seated by the window and we were (I don't know where she got the idea to ask - it was our first time eating there, and I didn't even think about windows or fireworks). We were actually surprised that night that you were able to see some of the fireworks, hear the music, and that they dimmed the lights.
