Cinderellabration & ADR for CRT?

We leave tommorrow (Tues. 2/7) eve. and I have a last minute question. We have an ADR at 12:15 for lunch at CRT and they say to arrive 15 min. early. Now, Cinderellabration is going on at 11:40 that day. I have never been to WDW before and don't know the logistics. Where do yo enter the castle for lunch? Can we watch Ciderellabration at 11:40 and still make it into the castle in time for lunch? Any help for this rookie would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Paula-

The show runs about 15-20 minutes. I think you should be fine. You will have to make your way behind the castle--the Fantasyland side--to enter the restaurant. Probably the easiest way, facing the castle, would be to go up the path that goes around the left side. You won't be able to go through the castle because of the show. Have a great trip!

It should be a bit faster to get "behind" the castle if you go LEFT (across to Frontierland/Liberty Square entrance) and up the ramp that's adjacent to the castle (you'll see it easily once you're almost to the Frontierland entrance.

This path goes through the "side archway" of the castle and leads you to the "Tinkerbell Shop" in Fantasyland.

Turn right, and there's the entrance and check-in to "Cinderella's Royal Table" inside the main castle archway.

Here's a thought- if Cinderellabration is going on- will the princesses still be in the castle for lunch? I know the op's time won't affect this, but others lunch time may. Do the princesses not come out at crt for 15-20 minutes while the show is going on? Just curious.

Nope. The princesses still do come out during lunch. I had lunch in the castle last July for my birthday and the princesses were there. It was Cinderella, Snow White, Princess Aurora, Belle (in the blue dress), and Wendy.

Was Cinderellabration going on during your lunch? I guess my question is, if you're eating lunch in the castle with the princesses and Cinderellabration is going on- how do you explain that to the kids? I guess it may not be an issue too much since you overlook the back of the castle from the dining room- it would just be weird to walk down the stairs from your meal and see all the princesses that you just left upstairs performing on stage. Oh well, right now I'm just trying to get a trip together so I will have that problem!

Yes. My lunch was at 12:30 (there were 8 shows at that time). It is good that the room faces Fantasyland, but you could hear the fireworks from the show! It was still fun.
