CINDERELLA!!!! The Vandy girls are BACK!!!**UPDATE 8-8-09! THE END-FINALLY! Page 83**

I know you were TOTALLY kidding!:) I know you guys have a life outside of the DIS. I, unfortunately don't work, well it's a good thing, but I'm bored at home you know. :scared: Of course the is always a toilet I can clean, but who wants to do that???? DISing is a lot more fun!!!

I'm a stay at home mom as well and I would definately rather DIS than cleaning the toilet. My DH sometimes calls during the day and asks if I can do some of his clothes becaus he ran out of socks or something

luke thinks he has to pet EVERY dog he sees!

I truely agree with you

Those step sisters look like a lot fun.

Just learned a couple of weeks ago ESPN gets the first pick then CBS then Raycom (JP, LF whatever the heck you want to call them) So that's why we didn't know until Sunday morning about the time of our game. ESPN picked the UGA/VU or LSU/USC game so that left CBS a pick after that. And b/c ESPN always works on their own time they could wait to choose and then Raycom got the one they didn't want. Hope that made sense

Actually I received an email from the GA Dawgs site that explained it differently. I know the SEC just signed a huge deal with ESPN but from the email it said CBS still has the first choice but they chose the AL game (and it was definitely chosen before ESPN picked their game because the email stated what CBS had picked and this was Friday before the Sunday that ESPN picked). Then ESPN gets a choice, then Raycom. CBS gets 3 times during the season they can wait until the 6th day out to pick their game (I know this is true b/c they are using that option for the GA - LSU game and another game next weekend). CBS gave ESPN one of their 6 day out options to use this weekend. So ESPN (on Sunday) chose the LSU - USC game and then Raycom got the GA game. Hope that made sense! LOL

Ahhhh I LOVE your pictures from 1900 Park Faire! I came across the stepsisters on my last trip for the first time and just adored them. they are so funny! Best character interaction I've ever seen. I am putting this restaurant on my must-do list for next time!

Heeeeey! No, you aren't going crazy! I've read your previous trip reports before! I love 'em! :)

Yall are going to be in Disney right after we leave! Dangit.

And it looks like yall had some fun at the fall festival! Love all the pictures!

good - glad i'm not crazy. i knew i remembered you! thanks for coming over here! :thumbsup2

No bad singing?

sorry to disappoint you! :rotfl2:

Now, I have heard of Gainesville! Looks like you had a beautiful fall day to enjoy the festivities! It was really windy here.

it was windy there, too. but it was nice because the sun was out.

Looks like fun! Is the boy in the orange shirt with you guys? He looks like he's sharing Ray's plate.

yep, that's our nephew, joshua (ray's sister's son). he's 12 and he's VERY camera shy. well, he's just kinda shy in general! he's at that awkward age. he's such a sweet boy though. he always tells us he loves us when we say goodbye to him. i think ray's like the "cool uncle" to him! :goodvibes

My husband does divorce work too. (it's not his main focus, but he's really the only one in his firm that does domestic work) He says it's so sad when there are kids involved and parents can't even figure out how to make visitation easy so each parent can see their kids. I know that there are circumstances to every divorce, so please don't thrash me everyone. It's just sad for everyone involved.
I hope your trial ends soon.
Nice fall festival. It's nice that you support your local festivities!!

divorce is the worst. i was VERY lucky. my parents divorced when i was 4 and they were awesome my entire childhood. when i wanted to see my dad, i could. when i wanted to see my mom, i could. no questions asked. and they never bad-mouthed the other in front of me. the three of us even went out to dinner and the movies together sometimes!

Well I picked Vandy this week also. Sorry they lost. But hey, 1 in 6 isn't too bad. Miss State always has this way of playing big in certain games. They even gave LSU a little run for their money. I will be at the Vandy @ UGA game Saturday, but, of course, I will be rooting for UGA. Vandy has been playing us tough the past few years, so we need to be ready to play.

i hope we play well. that's all i want. i'm so proud of our team this year!

That fall festival sounds like a lot more fun than Mayville, because yummy food minus bad singing cowgirls is a good thing. Luke is very cute, I hope he didn't eat all of that sand candy at one time, because the picture after him eating the sand candy he looks a wired up and I'm glad Luke likes dogs it adds to his cuteness:)

i'm pretty sure he did eat all that! and yes, he was wound up. but i'm sure he passed out on the way home!

Great update - looks like a fun place to eat!

Love the picture of Cinderella with your hubbys - too cute!

it was great! yeah, she was a good sport about taking that picture.

Luke is so darn cute. His hair really lightened in the summer sun. From what I remember I thought he was much darker.

Already checked it out ;)

I truely agree with you

yeah, luke's hair did lighten up a bit this summer. they are outside a lot. when he was born it was BLACK and it continues to get lighter as he grows. the step sisters were AWESOME!

Ahhhh I LOVE your pictures from 1900 Park Faire! I came across the stepsisters on my last trip for the first time and just adored them. they are so funny! Best character interaction I've ever seen. I am putting this restaurant on my must-do list for next time!

you should definitely check it out! they are a riot. and i know how you loved them this past trip - you'd have a blast there!

so after our dinner we headed up to the monorail for the MK. as we were waiting on a monorail a guy noticed our shirts and said something about us being from tennessee. i had just started saying i was from there because it was too difficult to explain that i grew up there but was in georgia now, yada, yada, yada. anyway, this dude was SO DRUNK. he was slurring his speech and it was just apparent that he had hit the wet bar a little too hard! it was odd too because his wife was super nice and his kids were so cute. he was just really out of place. pretty funny!

before we actually went into MK we stopped by the ticket booth to buy tickets for MNSSHP the next night. we had been paying close attention to the forecast and it looked like the rain would be gone by then, so we decided to go for it! :thumbsup2 i asked the CM at the ticket booth if there was an AP discount for the next night and he said yes (remember this for later!) and so we bought our tickets at the discounted AP price.

then into MK we went. of course the park was decorated for fall already because the first MNSSHP was the next night. it's so pretty like this!

P1030541.jpg

there was no line when we got off and erica wanted to ride it again, so we did. super spooky fun!!!

when we got off the second time i think it was somewhere around 8:20-ish. spectro started at 9:00, so we decided to go get a spot. we found one on the rock wall next to the gallows across from the liberty bell. i love this spot because the floats turn here so you get good views of them.

the CMs were playing games with the kids, as usual. so cute!

That is so funny about what you siad about the stretching room at HM. I was about 6 when I went on it the first time and my mom said I turned so pale. She really thought I was going to passout I was so scared. :rotfl: Then when you get to the part where they sit you in the cars I sat in the middle part in between my mom and dad. (Not sure if it's still like that since this was about 15 years ago and I haven't been since the refurb) She said at the part where you are in front of the mirrors and it looks like a ghost is in between the two people it looked like it was sitting in my lap and I almost had a heart attack. :lmao:

Great pictures Dawn! I LOVE the fall decorations at MK!:cloud9:

Ok - off to check out your Dec. pre-trippie now. (why do I feel like you LIVE at WDW?;) )

I love the dinner pictures!! You guys have convinced me to take Hollie there when we go in February!!! I just love those sisters!!!! They are hilarious!! We saw them on our November trip. They kept telling me to get out of the picture then when we walked away, they looked at Chad and gave him the hand to the ear phone sign and said, "Call us!" :lmao:

Magic Kingdom all decked out in its Halloween finery may be my favorite time of year there! I am really bummed that we didn't make it down there this year, but your pictures definitely helped fill that void! :goodvibes

All your castle pics are fabulous! I need to remember that spot on the bridge for next year!

Great update! The pumpkins on top of the shop are neat! The pictures from the show are awesome! Can't wait to see your parade pictures!

Everything looks so festive, I love all the details. The pic of the castle and fireworks was my favorite. So cool.
Punkin, Ive been meaning to ask you if you took the new bag you bought? I havn't seen it in pics.

I love all the fall pictures. Just what I needed to see as I'm counting down the final week until I'm there in person! :cool1:

i hope we play well. that's all i want. i'm so proud of our team this year!

I hear your coach, Bobby Johnson is on the top of the AD's list for a replacement coach at Clemson. He played football there and graduated from there, so I wonder what will happen. So far he isn't really talking too much about it.

I love the details of the decorations, and how the artisans pay close attention to the look of them, every single year. Even up close, you can't see any flaws or anything. That's what I love about Disney, the attention to detail and the excellence. :thumbsup2

erica with roy and minnie!

P1030425.jpg

I love the fall decorations and I am so mad I somehow overlooked this bench
:headache: I love it! I guess I was alway focused on the castle in the distance!

BTW: I decided to write a TR of my own for my summer trip, stop by and check it out when you get a chance!
