Cinderella Castle Suite Photos

The pictures are great...and I didn't read the whole thread, so I might be the only one..........BUT......isn't the suite sort of, ummmm, I don't know....dark?!

Exactly. It looks cold and dank. Not warm and magical. Too castle-ish.

It's beautiful. I would love to spend the night there. The attention to detail is spectacular, and I love how it all comes together. It would be a dream come true to stay there, the ultimate Disney experience that everyone who has ever been to Walt Disney World has dreamed of.
Can you just imagine the thrill of the Cast Member giving you the dream? Words cannot describe it.

Where can I find pictures of the Mickey Penthouse at DL?

I think it looks just like a room in a castle would look like. I wouldn't turn down the chance to stay in there, but I'm not so sure I would be to willing to spend money on it. I kind of agree with other posters, I would prefer the mickey room at disneyland. It seems more fun :mickeyjum . This room is so serious I would be afraid my little princess: would mess something up. :rotfl:

Also, it looks like there may be windows in the "sitting" room, unless they are fake. I would hope there are some window(s) some place. I think it would be to closed in feeling if there were no windows at all.

Comments like this crack me up (not to be rude or anything) but this IS CINDERELLA'S castle don't you think it should be "castle-ish" ??
I WANT TO STAY THERE!!!!!

This is one thing I have to disagree with. It does look dark but I believe that the pictures were probably taken after dark. Maybe the room would look totally different with sunlight coming in the windows (even if there are 1 or 2 of them). Typically, castle interiors aren't bright and colorful. And i'm sure they (interior decorators) wouldn't use light blue and silver with pink accents. They made it more true to ACTUAL castles.

I think they did a wonderful job!

How do you "win" a night in Cindy's castle?

Its part of a million dreams this year and they will choose a person in one of the parks and they have to stay there the night they were chosen. They will choose one person each day.

I think a room in a castle looking castle-ish means they did it right.

I think what people may be really hoping for is something more girly. It actually reminds me a LOT of Aurora's castle interior. No, it's not frilly and it's not pink, but it's stately, royal, and I think meant to cater to both girls who dream of staying in a castle AND boys who dream of staying in a castle.

It wouldn't be right to make it a room just fit for a princess. It has to be a room fit for a knight or a prince as well. Or a king. Or queen.

I suspect someday it will be a VIP room, and it probably had to be made exquisite enough to serve as a proper VIP room.

Just my .02.

This looks great! I really wish that there were some pictures from the inside looking out of a window (if it exists).

One question: Do you have to be at WDW to win a night there? Or are there other contests online?

Thanks! :cool1:

But why make it look like an ACTUAL castle? It's in Disney World (fantasy, magical, not real-world) not Scotland, and after all it IS Cinderella's castle, so I think the light blue and silver would fit it. Actual castles don't have gold turrets with golden Peter Pans and Wendys flying around them with large flying elephant rides in their backyard. :rotfl:

A stay there would be the ultimate! My 5 year old princess and I are in awe!!!

Now i know what i want for my birthday, please. Keeping my fingers crossed as i will be there in 7 weeks.
