After being totally unaware of the need for ADR for our cruise, by the time I got enlightened through this Board and my Passporter guide - it was too late to get reservations at the castle for Cinderella. After much indecision, I finally settled on dining with the Princesses at Akershus for dinner one night - being fully warned not to expect Cinderalla. What a surprise for my 6 year-old granddaughter to be met by the 'expected' princesses (especially Princess Jasmine in whose costume she arrived in for dinner) but lo and behold - there was Cinderella as well!

This was a wonderful dinner and I wouldn't have traded watching the excitement on my granddaughter's face for anything.

So you just never know - Disney does have the knack for making 'magic'.

I'm glad you had a nice experience. We love the Princess dinner here because my dd likes all of the princesses and you get to meet so many. This past time we didn't see Cinderella but the last two times prior we did. We did see Snow White this year. My daughter was thrilled because she was sure the restaurant looked just like the type of castle Snow White would have:lovestruc .

She was happy to see Cinderella. Snow White would have been cool as well as she got a pic at the MNSSHP but no autograph. The downside of that Snow White experience is that the line was outrageous and there were no photopass photographers. We took two pics on our own but you had to stand so far away to get all seven dwarves in the pic that the whole picture is washed out (it was dark) and the camera flash didn't do much. But I digress. I would do Akershus again. I was worried when I read the food description but we all enjoyed it.

I really feel that she is the black sheep of princesses, I mean she doesnt get a float at the Spectromagic Parade she walks, Snow White is rarely the center of attention and I was somewhat disappointed in her popularuty, is it me I really think that it would be nice to see a few more character Opportunities with Snow White! and WDW get my girl a Float for the Spectro
Magic Parade;)

I'm so glad you got to see Cinderella at Akershus.

We missed Cinderella this trip so we'll try to find her on our next one.

We did get to see Snow White who is my DD's fav princess - twice. Once at Akershus and then a 2nd time at MNSSHP. I was annoyed there was no photopass photographer so DH took the pic instead of being in it with the rest of us.
