Cigarette smell

I got a small dresser at a yard sale, left it outside for a day to air out (and cleaned it up) and sprayed it w/febreeze, but it still has a lingering cigarette smoke smell in the drawers...anyone know a quick and easy way to get rid of the odor?

make a little bag of charcoal in some light fabric, or just a baggie left open, that will absorb the order inside of the drawers,

Other than that for the outside you may need to clean it really well with lemon or almond oil, that might help get rid of the odor.

I've also read that taking newspapers and crumpling them up loosely and leaving them in the drawer can help. The charcoal is a very tried and true one.

Anyone have an answer to a cedar chest I was STUPID enough to put moth balls in when I was young and can't get the smell out of now? After 30 years it is still there. I have set it in the sun, tried all the other methods and even sanded the entire inside.

eww...the only thing I hate worse than the smell of cigarette smoke is mothballs!! LOL
I have nooo idea how to get rid of either...I'd think the outside should help the smoke ?

I was going to suggest charcoal too. You can put it on a small tray in the drawers. Make sure you don't get ez start charcoal. It's soaked in something and that's a whole other gross smell.
