But that's what this thread is supposed to be about, right? Torture? And whether the U.S. has the right to torture suspects who might be able to supply information?
I wish more people would make this distinction, actually. You can support the war and NOT support the use of torture. But people are so rabid these days that any criticism of the current administration is treated like treason.
Anyway, thank you for your family's service. Many in my family have served as well, Army and Marines. But I guess that doesn't count for much these days if someone is against the current war.
